Trialing New Adverts
Over the last few months the revenue received from the adverts on this site has almost halved. Because of this we are trialling a new set of adverts which will hopefully push AnimeOTK back on it's way to paying for itself. As things stand we are currently making an almost $200 a month loss keeping this site running. Donations are low and with lower advert revenue we have no choice but to try new things.
Yes the new adverts are ugly, however getting yourself promoted to a new usergroup (happens after being registered over a week or so and having made at least 2 non-spam posts on the forum) will mean you never see it again. Alternatively you can donate by sending a PM to Ai for details.
The advert should load on approximately one out of every five pages you view, it is random however so don't be surprised if a couple of times it loads on sequential pages and then doesn't show up for a while.
After a week or so of trialling these new adverts we shall have an accuratish estimate on how much they will earn. If they are performing badly they will be removed. This topic will be updated once a descision has been made
