Young Adison Arkham stood in front of the mirror trying to get his bowtie on strait....today was his first day working in the mannor and he was excited....he was going to learn all sorts of great things...and he knew if he worked hard enough...someday he would get to be the head Butler for the family just like his Uncle.....he put on his white gloves then heard the clock chime.

"Darn it...I was supposed to meet my uncle downstairs in the kitchen 5 minuets ago...he quickly threw on his jacket and ran his hand over his dark hair and took off running as fast as he could down the stairs to the kitchen.

Mark Anderson looked at the clock. His nephew was a little late, but it was his first day. He was probably fretting over little things. A small smile came to his face, he loved his nephew dearly, since he had no children of his own.

He rolled his shoulders with a sigh. He hoped this would be easy; and that Adison wouldn't be too much of a handful. After a while, Mark had gotten used to serving the family and felt like he was part of it.

Adison burst into the kitchen slipping a bit at the doorway and then tumbeling to the floor landing right in front of his Uncle Mark....he scrambled to his feet...now his bow tie undone..and his hair in his face...but smiling widly looking eager.

"sorry Uncle...I ran as fast as I could..I diddnt know it took this long to get from the attic to the kitchen!!" he panted.

Mark sighed, but smiled at his nephew. He helped him up and began fixing him up.

"I swear Adison," he said. "You are your father's son for everything." He chuckled, giving his nephew a quick hug once he was straightened up. "Now, ready to begin?" he asked.

Mark chuckled. "How about a quick tour so you don't get lost again?" he asked, standing up. "After all, you won't think it's so much fun when all the chores start."

"Alright....but chores in a mansion gotta be better than chores in a shack!" Adison said then quickly followed behind his uncle touching everything he could...the boy was very tactile and was amazed at all the finery the house held.

"Careful now," Mark warned, his tone slightly stern. "If you break something, you'll have to clean it up...and since you're young, the owner will expect me to handle you instead of firing you."

"Oh" Adison answered then brighting "I wont break anything" he said now puting his hands by his sides....he wasnt sure what his uncle would do but he diddnt want to find out.

They entered the huge library and the walls of books made Adison dizzy.
"WOW...thats a lot of book!..do we have to dust them all???"

Mark chuckled. "Not often," he said. "It's rare that the master lets anyone into his study. I only brought you here to let you know you are not allowed in here unless the master is in here. Understood?"
