Here's my question: what exactly is "anime"? I mean, in Japan and parts of Europe, anime means all animated drawings, but in some places (like the U.S.) it just means "art in the Japanese style popularized in the 70's & 80's". I only ask because I've got some cool pix I'd like to post, but if they're too "western-art" I don't want to piss anybody off by posting them where they're not wanted. I looked around the galleries to try to find the answer myself, but no luck so far. Most are Japanimation-style, but many aren't (Andy Price, Disney pix, etc).

Please help!

as long as they arnt too "real" or "3D" then there shouldnt be a problem

as for the anime reference lve always taken it as a style rather than a generalisation of Japanese animation as whole.
