The Bounty Hunter and The Thief (for Spunny)

In the town of Prestoria, there lived a Bounty Hunter by the name of Night Shade. No one knew anything about him or his past but he was the best Bounty Hunter Prestoria had ever seen. Though Night Shade didn't go by the book all the time and some methods were questionable at best, he earned his money and never lost a contract. He hunted down the most difficult to find escapees and brought them to justice. There was no thief, robber, killer, or any other criminal that could hid from Night Shade. Night Shade always wore a black outfit with a black mask that covered his face so that all was seen of his face was his eyes, a bit of his forehead, and the top part of the bridge of his nose (think of Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Reptile's mask from Mortal Kombat). Nothing else was seen of his actual skin. There was a scar over his right eye going from forehead to cheek.

"Another beautiful night," Night Shade commented to himself as night descended upon Prestoria, "Time to patrol the town in search for mischief makers."

Night Shade smiled under his mask and went out into the night and the shadows in search of anyone foolish enough to cause mischief in his town.

In that same town, there was also a boy who went by the name of Wanted. No one knew his real name, no one knew anything about his family are his past. The name only signified which side of the law he always fell on. A constant thief, troublemaker and other things that a boy shouldn't do, he was always searched for by the law. Of course, when you're as good as him and played the game for as long as he had, you learn not where people will search but where they won't search. He's fought and defeated some of the best Bounty Hunters that came after him, and if he couldn't he just ran away until he lost them, either way worked.

And it was the same today as well. Looking over the scene from the rooftops, people scrambling about the streets up and down to look for him. They'd never think to look up for one reason or another. And the sixteen year old smiled as he walked away from the scene calmly, cash in his pocket, candy in fingers and several ugly but expensive jewelry, which he quickly dropped off of him as all he really wanted was the cash. Besides, as said before,t he jewelry were quite ugly. The rich have no taste.

Night Shade soon picked up the presence of one that was up to no good. Night Shade also loved being on the rooftops and soon found the boy with bulging pockets and recently dropped jewelry.

"Well," Night Shade stated, "You look like a real challenge and it has been a long time since I had a real challenge."

Night Shade got into his fighter's stance and eyed the boy, sizing him up.

"Ugh, another bounty hunter." The boy said as he saw Night Shade, getting into a fighting stance as he saw the man get into one. "Is there no way for me to talk you out of this? No? I guess not."

Though to be honest, Wanted was a little bit excited about this.This had been a boring day so far and perhaps a fight with a Bounty Hunter would liven it up a bit. If he was any good at his job, that is. "Since I'm such a nice guy, why don't you make the first move?"

"Gladly," Night Shade stated with a chuckle.

He then charged Wanted with near in-human speed and did a right hook punch.

Wanted, however, dodged it easily, moving out of the way just as quickly as Night Shade move in for the first blow, if not even faster, a cocky smirk on his face.

"You're a fast one, aren't you?" He asked, before he prepared himself."Guess I won't have to worry about going easy on you then."

With that, he charged at Night Shade, lifting his leg to knee the man in the stomach.

"Naturally," Night Shade commented as he caught the boy's leg and sweep kicked his other leg from under him.

Wanted landed hard on his back, grunting as he did before he pulled away, blue flames surrounding his hands. "Okay then. I guess I'll just have to give this my all, won't I?" He asked, before he began to hurl fireballs at the bounty hunter.

"Good," Night Shade stated, "I like a challenge."

Night Shade easily dodged the fireballs as black flames surrounded his body.

Wanted chuckled a bit as blue flames surrounded his body, crossing his arms as he watched Night Shade. "I think this fight might get a bit more interesting than I imagined."
