...We really need to update those rules. Five pictures was meant to be the bare minimum, not a magic finish line. Keep posting for now--if you get a gallery, you'll be the first to know.

I actually looked for it in the sites rules ages ago to remove it - its not there.
There's no such rule.

The whole "5 pictures" thing was something that was in operation back when the site was first started, it was a little word-of-mouth benchmark.

I've not created a gallery for someone with less than 10 or 15 in the last two years. There's at least three people with 10+ pictures waiting on my mental list to get just that little bit more to be promoted in the next round.

There's only one artist with a gallery whose got less than 25 pictures (And she didn't get a gallery from me and honestly I'm on record already of saying she shouldn't have it and wouldn't have it except for neoptism, if she doesn't upload more work for another month I'll be justified in removing it).

There's over 100 artists on AotK now, the "Five picture rule" was an absolute bare minimum and is sooo 2009. The benchmark is now really high.
