Standing in the Temple of Time Link and Zelda emerged together after returning from the sky. Zelda having understood her role in the history of the world, decided to stay on the surface world and explore what was always below the clouds just out of reach. Link, her protector, best friend and possible love interest agreed to stay with her on the surface world wanting her to not travel alone. The two of them had spent a month on the surface since Link returned the Master Sword to its stone. They had gone back up to Skyloft to resupply themselves before they continued to explore.

They were exploring the forests looking to see if creatures survived on the surface world, besides the woman that was in the temple. It was a long shot but it would be a blessing to see that there were more people out there in the world.

A month has past and the duo have traveled a good amount...but the amount of people found was nowhere near good. Indeed it would be a blessing to see any other person except for that old lady. But Zelda refused to accept this since the surface is so vast. Yet the female was highly grateful that Link, her best friend, protector and possible lover, has agreed to stay with her. Yet, right now, here they are in a forest and after a couple of moments Zelda faced Link "which direction do you think we should go?" she asked, giving him the choice of where they should go next.

[yeppers it was pretty vague what they'd end up doing once they got back to the surface.]

Link sighed as he looked around from his position. "Well, we've gone east of the temple in the last month... I say we go north this time and travel that way for a while." He offered as he sat there on a stump yawning, his old lazy habits coming back a bit.

At the male's selection Zelda smiled lightly and nodded "sure, north is where we'll go." Before the blonde made a single step, she spotted that Link has sat down on a stump. "We already havesome rest not so long ago Link, you can't be tired again," after saying these words the female sighed lightly, it seem that his laziness is something that hasn't fully changed.

"I know I know, I'll be up in a second." Link told her with a yawn and then gave it another minute or so before he finally got up and started to walk with her towards the north. "You think the rest of Skyloft would ever consider going down to the surface world?" He asked her after a while.

Zelda kept her patience during the minute, but did consider dragging him if Link took any longer. While walking together she listened to his question, that actually was a good question; who would visit the surface world from up there? After a couple of seconds Zelda found an answer "I think Groose might, but I don't think any of the others would consider it." After saying her words the girl asked Link a question "are you missing them or something?"

Link walked with her and shook his head at the thought but they were walking through the forest. "No, I just think... the goddess would have wanted it that way. Her people coming back to the world they lost all those years ago." He replied simply his time traveling gave him a bit of worldly knowledge.

Zelda smiled lightly at his words, glad that he gathered some knowledge from his adventure. "Its nice to see that you've learnt something from your adventure," she said to Link has they continued to walk on. It wasn't far from night has the moon began to ascend over their heads.

"We should break for camp... its getting dark." He told her as he saw the moon over their heads and started to get camp ready. There were several trees around them, no clearing for quite a while.

"Good idea," Zelda replied before trying to help Link set up camp. Even though the girl really wanted to help him, she isn't quite good at setting up camp. After a couple of failed attempts to help the male Zelda spoke "I'll go get us some firewood, okay?" once she said that the girl went off to find some wood. Zelda knew that she would be more useful by finding firewood then failing to set anything up. And, if anything, it would give the blonde time to see a little more of the forest before having her rest with Link.
