It was early afternoon on Saturday when they met in the forest. The male had expected to be alone for the weekend; he didn't expected to meet a girl, especially out here

His name was Anthony Santos, and was in the forest on a camping trip. He had a week off from work and college, so he decided to head off into the woods. the classes her currently took he didn't need to study for, and he rarely took vacation time for himself, so a weekend like this was a rare treat. He was deep in the woods now, about ten miles from the closest person; he prefered it this way. If he wanted constant contact, he would have stayed home. His camp consisted of a three person tent, s firepit, a protable cardtable and chair; his food was tied on a rope, to keep it away from bears.
at the moment he was swimming in a nearby stream, within view of his camp. he'd easily be able to see and hear anyone

In the forest there had been rumors of a strange being walking around, but no one had any prove of it. Sure many had tried to take pictures of the creature, but no one had decent photo of it. So they quickly put it under the 'doesn't exist' file. The forest was never closed down or had people coming out just to search for it. From what people say it was smaller then your usual Bigfoot. There was also mention of it having a tail of some short. Once again people thought that people who spots it had one to many of beers on the trip. Though they were wrong.

As Anthony was swimming in the river. There was a rustle in the bushes. Then something was climbing up the tree that he had tied his food to. He made a small rip in the bag. Just enough to reach into the bag. Pulling out as much food as it could before. fleeting the tree, but as the strange being did. It dropped the bag on the ground and tat made it all the more to run off. The remaining food in its hand. Though it was a her.

It was female, it was easy to tell because her parts were not covered expect with dirt from the ground. Though it didn't look human. For she had had dog like ears, tail, feet and hand, but she had thumbs. Her hair was long tangled raven black. Her animal like parts were also the same color, but had hint of gray in it as well.

Anthony was surfacing from a dive when the bag fell from the tree. his head shot up at the noise, eyes looking in the direction of the camp. as he turned, he caught a glimpse of the female creature. He blinked at first. Was..was this the thin people at the main campsite had been whispering about? He had taken it as simply drunken stories, but now that he was seeing it with his own eyes, he was reconsidering. "hey you!" he called as he moved out of the water, slipping his sandals on quickly once he reached the shore. "What are you doing?" he couldn't see yet, but he suspected whoever or whatever it was had been at his food.

The she beast did not slow down as the human called out to her. For who knows what he would do to her. She had been shot at with metal sticks that shoot strange pebbles out of it and she had seen what they can do if you were hit. Though she was to quick to ever been hit. Yet she knows the dangers of humans and learned to stay away from them as much as she could. As she ran into the thicker part of the woods for cover and to get away. She had stumbles upon a rock and fell. Making her loose hold on the snacks.

tumbling a few times. She rolled on the ground and sat up. Making her groan and look down at her ankle. It appears that she had twisted it and couldn't get up. She just hope that she was far enough for him to loose sight of her. There were other times where they try to capture her and do who knows what. All he knew that she was in serious trouble.

Anthony noted the shebeast didn't stop from his voice. in response he ran off after her. as he moved through the camp, he glanced over at the fallen bag. he noticed a hole inside, cursing to himself; whoever she was, she'd been at the food. He picked up speed a little, not wanting her to get away. whoever or whatever she was, she needed to know not to steal from others. He slowed when he heard a noise up ahead. "what in the world?" he mumbled to himself, moving more cautiously; the path here was bumpy, and one could trip if they weren't careful.

His head turned when he heard a groan, eyes soon falling on the shebeast. he blinked more, taking in her dog-like features now that they were close together. when he noticed her state of dress, he blushed lightly. "are you ok?" he asked, noting that her ankle seemed hurt. as he asked, he slowly moved closer to her

Her ears stood up as he caught up to her and asked if she was okay. Coming closer and closer to her. She bared her canine like teeth at him and growled. "Just stay away from me!" she growls as she tries to stand up. But with her hurt ankle. It was hard for her and fell right back on her bottom. Making her stand on three. Both her hands and her unhurt foot. While she had the other one up off the ground. Her tail was tucked between her legs and limps back a few inches. "I know your kind. You are here to hunt me down and use those metal sticks. I am not afraid to bite down on your throat til you can no longer breathe." she warns him.

Anthony stopped in his tracks as her ears stood up, blinking as she bared her teeth and growled at him. as she fell back on her butt, he took another few steps towards her. "Metal sticks?" he said as she spoke again, blinking a little; he was a little confused, trying to understand what she meant by that. Despite her warning, he continued to move towards the dog-girl. "I'm not here to hurt you," he said, keeping his guard up. "I don't even know what this metal stick you think I have is; I don't have any weapons on me, miss. I just saw you in my camp, thats all." he gestured at her hurt leg. "please..let me have a look at that. it looks bad."

She continued to growl as he moved closer to her. Limp back each time he walked up to her. Until her back was pressed against a tree. He had her corner now. And she felt even more threaten. "Lair. Most of you human carry those metal stick that have the strange pebbles in there and that are loud as thunder. You humans use it to kill deers, ducks and try to hurt me." she tells him. When he mention that he wanted to look at her ankle because it looked back. She turned her foot away from him. "It's fine. I dealt with worse." she tells him. "Now return to your spot with that strange cave and leave be. This is your final warning."

"I am not," he retorted, little agitated that someone who didn't even know him was calling him a liar. when she mentioned the sticks again and said pebbles and thunder, he blinked. "Guns? You think that I have a gun," he said, tilting his head as the dog-girl pressed against the tree. "If you think everyone has one, you're sadly mistaken. Only rangers or hunters have them out here, and I'm neither." as she gave her final warning, he ignored it and approached her more. "I'm not returning to my camp until I look at your ankle, miss. it looks like you sprained it."

"If that's what you call them. I've seen your kind carry them around and hunt all living things in here. You may not have one on you now, but hoe do I know that you don't have one from where you came from?" she asked. "You just want to do whatever you humans do after you catch your pray." she said in a angry tone.

Hearing that he wouldn't leave her until he had a look at her ankle. Coming closer to her. She had enough and sank her sharp teeth into his arms. Drawing blood from the bite marks and shakes her head. As if she was trying to rip it off. Though she was just trying to give him a warning. Hoping that he would leave after this.
