Santiago and his new daddy/new life (for Sassy_World900)

Chris had been waiting for his application to adopt a child for several months, having been a foster parent for the last three years, having children, boys mainly in his care, it was only a temporary arrangement..all the boys he has cared for he has loved and enjoyed seeing them learn and grow.

There was several ways that Chris uses in helping boys behave and be good kids, he has used these techniques for several years with good results..they are centred on punishment and rewards...the punishments being OTK spankings, corner-time and mouth washings with soap for bad language...the rewards are outdoor recreation like camping and tramping, and rides on outdoor vehicles...which for most boys is exciting... though some boys need to be punished more often and longer than other, eventually with the lure and excitement of the rewards they eventually start to behave...and become better behaved children long-term .

Finally Child Social Services had informed him they had a little 8 year old in desperate need of a permanent home...Santiago was the childs name, coming from a criminal family who have lost custody of him...he now has need of a daddy who will provide for his needs, giving him the love and discipline he needs...CSS had wisely informed Chris that Santiago has behavoural issues, and can be very naughty...the Adoption was approved, he would need tp pick Santiago up from the NY office and sign the paperwork to finalise the adoption...

So the day arrived when Chris woke up early, got ready tto leave to pick up his Adopted Son Santiago from the New York office of the CSS, a 7 hr drive away..Chris thought it would be a lot better to travel by car rather than fly, a good chance for them both to get to know each other, and also avoid any problems on the Aircraft, leaving his home just a little after 3am, he eventually arrived at the office after 10:30am, for his 11am app to pick up Santiago and sign the adoption papers...Chris parked his car and made his way upstairs to the CSS reception, identifying himself to the receptionist, and his business, he was told to wait and someone will be out to see him shortly....Chris sat in the waiting room for the Social Worker that was dealing with the case of Antonio's adoption....

Things cannot get any worse for him or that's how Santiago felt. A while back his father was caught committing a crime and it was sent to jail. His mother left them when he was young so it only been the two of the,. While he was used to his reckless behavoir. His father never made any real time for him. Mostly dumping him onto whatever chick he was dating at the time. They never watch over him anyway. This caused him to think that he doesn't need anyone and can watch over himself. Though he also thinks that things can be solved by using his fists.

He had stayed a couple of foster homes, but was kicked out by the end of the week because of his rude attitude towards others and his mouth. It's until that he picks a fight with the foster father that he is placed with another one. So far he has been through three foster homes in the past two months. Now they were gonna try to put him in another one. Thinking that there is no point since he was gonna be kicked out of that one.

The young boy, who was smaller then the boys around his age. Making him look a little younger. Was wearing the best clothes he has. A black Tshirt with a flaming skull on it, baggy jeans and red and white skate shoes. Looking like a little punk, but everything else was ripped up from fights he got into with the other boys in his foster homes. Still, he was bring forced to go to this and has fought with the worker to stop, but he had the better hand. He was bigger and can easily pick him up.

As it was time for the meeting with Santiago's new foster father. He can hear two voices yelling at one another and some growling behind the door. Just then a young man in his mid twenties came in. Wearing a suit, tie and glasses came in. Though his clothes did look a little ruffled from the squirming child in his arms. "Excuse me, are you here to take him home?" he asked Chris in a polite tone. Then he yelped and dropped the kid onto the ground because he had bitten him on the arm. "I am not going with anybody! I don't need anyone!" the little boy yelled.

It had been 20minutes since he had arrived at the Child Socila Services office to pick up his little Adopted Son, Santiago, though a little nervious and excited he was thinkingh on what the little boy was like, it was then that his thoughts were interrupted with the appearence of a young man holding a struggling child, Santiago he figured, the Social worker asked Chris if he was here for the boy...looking up at the man, he was a little taken aback when he was bitten by the squirming child...

"Yes I am, I can see you're having a struggle with the boy, I believe there's adoption papers to sign before we leave, once we get that out of the way, then we can both leave"

As the Social Worker had dropped the little boy when he had bitten him, the little guy stated he wasn't going with anyone, and he didn't need anyone, standing up, Chris went over to the small boy and scooped him up in his arms, carrying him over to the chair and sitting down again, Chris had a firm, but gentle hold on the young boy, who was to become his new, adopted Son, he spoke with a firm, but caring voice...
"Hi Santiago, my name's Chris, you'll be coming and stauying with me little guy, we will be leaving once I get the paperwork signed..so behave please, that's a good boy"

Chris thought Santiago was 8 years, he looked a lot younger and smaller than that, he sure hoped that this little boy hasn't got a habit of biting, if so, he will be spanking his little bottom a lot sooner, he sat with the boy waiting for the Social worker to return with the paperwork.

To hear that he was in fact the man that was taking the little boy with him made the worker smile. "Yes, I will be right back with them. In the mean time. It would give you a chance to talk with the boy." he tells him before he leaves to get the papers. Leaving both of them where they are. Once the door had shut, Santiago looks at Chris and scowls at him. For he did not want to be anywhere near this guy. Though it doesn't seem he has much of a choice. Fpr the next thing he knew, he was picked up and placed onto the man's lap.

He tries to squirm his way out of his hold, but sadly it didn't work. He hates that when it comes to adults, he couldn't fight them off. They were always bigger and stronger then him. Introducing himself to him and telling him to behave while they wait. "Why should I listen to you? You think that because you signed some papers, you own me? Well you are wrong. I don't belong to anyone." he tells him in an angry tone and starts to kick his legs.

Just then the worker comes back witht he papers and a pen in his hands. Handing them on a clipboard to Chris. "Here you are sir. Just sign these and he is your new son." he said with a smile on his face. Then looks down at the little boy. "I hope this this one works out-ah!" he yelps as he was almost sucker punched in the face by the boy. Who stuck out his tongue.

When the Social Worker left to get the paperwork that needed signing, Santiago let his feeling being known, not that he realised what the adoption really meant anyway...the boys tone and attitude certainly needs to be worked on, speaking gently to the boy...
"Santiago, you need to settle down, we have a long trip before we get home, as soon as the papers are signed, we can go, so stop the kicking and relax"

As he held his struggling Son in a firm, but gentle grip, the Social Worker soon enough returned with the paperwork, as the SW made a comment to the little boy that he hoped it worked out for him, before he was punched in the face by a very angry child, taking a firmer hold, Chris signed the adoption forms and handed them back to the SW officer and spoke to the boy...
"That is enough Santiago what you did was uncalled fior..apologise please my boy?"

The Adoption papers were signed and handed back to the SWofficer

Picking up his little Son, Chris made his way out of reception and into a small room, sitting down, Santiago was stood in front of his daddy and spoken in a very firm voice...
"You cannot go treating people like that Santiago, it was very naughty, we will be going out to the car shorty Son, so no more lashing out...are you going to behave and settle down before we go out to the car Son?"

The Social Worker looks at him and smiles nervously. Telling him that it's quite alright. It was actually usual for him to do things like that. Though the boys seemed very unhappy being held with more firmness. Growling and hissing like some short of wild animal. Once he was handed the papers he pressed a stamp against it with the state's seal. "Alright. By the law of New York, he is now your son." he tells him. "May you be one big happy family...and good luck." he said the last part to Chris.

As the little boy was picked up and carried out of the room he was soon dragged to another room and was standing before the older male. But was avoiding any eye contact with him. While he goes on that they will be heading home and asked if he will settle down and behave. He did not say a word to him. With a mad pout on his face.

The SW officer made the adoption official and wihed both Santaigo and his new daddy luck..Chris smiled..."We'll be fine, and he will settle in and love his new home in time'

Once taken into a small room.and sitting down on a nearby chair....With Santiago standing in front of his new daddy, he avoided eye contact the whole time, the little guy looked mad and not happy at all...looking at the little boy and Chris decided on trying a diffirent tack...
"Before we go out to the car and make our way home, what do you like to do for fun Santiago? when we get home, and you are well behaved, we will be doing some real fun things...but only when you are a good boy Son...we can talk more about that on the trip home, ok Son?"

He listens to the older male tell him that they could do something fun before they hit the road towards home. He was quiet at first. But then he finally looks at him with the pout still on his face. "I like playing video games. Can we go to the arcade?" he asked in a less angry tone. "But stop calling me son." he tells him. For he never liked being called that. Not even his own father called him that. "My name is Santiago." he tells him.

When Santiago was asked whet he liked to do for fun..
"Sorry my boy you won't be playing at the arcade, there will be a lot of fun things to do at home, let's go then, we have a long trip in the car...I hope you will behave on the way home Santiago my boy"

Chris lets the boy off his lap, takes his hand in his, to make their way out to the car, wandering whether a spanked bottom may encourage the little boy to behave, in case he intends to misbehave...

To hear that they wouldn't be going to the arcade because they need to hit the road. He groaned and rolled his eyes. "If we are not gonna go, then why ask me in the first place?" he asked. Thinking that this guy was really annoying. Then he was grabbed by the hand and lead out of the room and out the building. All that time he was struggling to get out of his hold. Dragging his feet on the ground and trying to get his hand free. Yet again he was no power again Chris.

As they went out ot the parking lot and to the man's car. He looked around the city one last time. For he was informed that that his new 'guardian' did not live in the city. Which stinks because he liked the city life. There was always something to do. Thinking that this guy lived in a the middle of nowhere and only a few people living in whatever town he lives in.
