Well thank you! You are a very good writer and my writing skill are kinda like a roller coaster. You may notice I tend not to put compound words together I have a bit of dyslexia but I think you and I are going to have some fun.

Every now and then I write more like this...

An unsettling silence descended upon the compound as the furious storm began to dwindle in his vigor. The unnatural peace ushered in a soft yet icy fog as the hazy figure of man shifted cautiously through the mist and stinging rain. An outsider, an intruder, he stood cloaked only in mystery and veiled in his obscured, elusive intentions.

He was pale, this strange new guest, weathered and unkempt after a long and weary journey. Beneath a painted mask his crimson eyes pierced the murky surroundings as they fought a growing tide of paranoia; wide and sleepless they bored holes through the very walls. He thought with agitation that a wise man would rest, but refused his spent body any comfort while his target was so near.

Perhaps a wiser man could have seen that he was being sent toward slaughter.

He had been sent to the compound for a simple task: to assassinate the lone survivor of the Demon’s Hall Massacre, Takeo, Goemon. Yet even with the knowledge that these corridors housed seasoned warriors, the realization that surely he had been sent to his death eluded him. What did his employer care for an assassin’s life? It did not matter should he fail or succeed – another would come after him, as others had come before. If he did succeed he could look forward only to death upon his return. This unsuspecting shinobi, however, regarded his orders without hesitation.

As he silently trod across the wooden deck, he felt with a cautious relief that the dark canopy above him shielded his head and shoulders from the probing drops of rain. His form shook violently, his body beset with shivers as a light breeze wove chilled fingers around his saturated neck. He traced along a thin outer path before slipping through a shadowy doorframe left unlocked by some absent-minded servant. The silver fox set his dark kitsune mask firmly before his face and stepped bravely into the darkened halls.

His breath caught in his throat as he crept ever more slowly toward the first open door of the hallway. The man peered inside; darkness. Returning to the edge of the corridor he felt his heart race, thundering inside his chest. With each passing moment he spent in his search he knew that his chances of being discovered rose. With swift, muffled footsteps he found himself at a second doorway, and a third. Soon he found himself running down the corridor from door to door, his soft soled shoes making hardly a sound on the hollow wooden floor beneath him.

Nothing! Still nothing. A panic swelled within his chest, his throat tight and throbbing as perspiration streamed down his face and neck. Where was this boy? He must be found quickly…

Before the next door he hesitated, a thought running violently through his mind. A night patrol could be walking the grounds, or even some bemused guest. He could not risk being found, for that surely would be his demise. With a renewed interest in his mission and a blossoming sense of terror he neared the end of the hallway, bounding up a short flight of stairs. Behind the man flowed ghostly white hair, following in his darkened path.

Without a thought, his hand gripped the scabbard of the sword tightly. A sharp corner loomed ahead. As he slid across the floor his foot caught on a low table, hidden from his beady gaze. A vase tumbled to the floor, taking what seemed a thousand moments in its flight, at last resting with a thunderous crash. Again the breath caught in his throat; he felt gagged, choked, as if a strong hand had tightened about his neck.

He was stricken, frozen to the wall as the shatter rang through his ears, over and over. Down the hall, what seemed hundreds of lights appeared around door frames. The man cast wide eyes down to the broken shards, too many to count. His body suddenly felt heavy as his legs seemed to have a mind of his own, stranding him in the waking hallway.

As the first door began to slide open he took to the ceiling, spreading his exhausted limbs across the narrow walls. He held his breath, lest his own warm expirations betray him. Even as he lay, wedged between the walls, he felt a cool stream of fluid run down his neck and across his chin. The water he had carried so far, the water to revive himself and fuel his weary form must have move in his haste and now trickled slowly across the back of his dark shirt. He felt the bottle slide along his shoulder at an agonizing pace. He closed his sad eyes slowly, biting his lip.

He could only hope to dear Kami that no one would inspect the noise.

Woah, awesome! o.o Really well-written! Posts like that are totally fine too. My posts tend to fluctuate. One minute they're five or six paragraphs, the next maybe about two or three.
