Since you kinda left things open for questions, tell us about yourself. What first brought you here? What are your interests other than spanking? You're a spanking author and actor - what first got you into it?

Those are some pretty open-ended questions. Let's take them one at a time.


Tell us about yourself. Well, I'm a 40-year-old male spanker from Tampa, Florida who's been active in the spanking community for ten years. I've attended several spanking parties during that time, as well as a good number of private meetings with willing spankees. During that time, I've blogged about spanking, written spanking stories and books, produced spanking videos, been on several spanking chatrooms, and even helped to run a local spanking party group down here. So, spanking is a big part of who I am.


What first brought you here? I don't remember, exactly. I think I was on a site that displays anime-style spanking pictures, and AOTK was linked from it.


What are your interests other than spanking? I'm into just about anything geeky or nerdy. I like any kind of roleplaying (either tabletop, like Dungeons and Dragons, or online, even if it's not spanking-related), anime (obviously), science fiction, Amtgard (a foam weapon boffer LARP), Ren Faires, comic book and anime conventions, cosplay and online gaming.


You're a spanking author and actor - what first got you into it? Well, the writing came naturally as a part of my blogging, though I think that it started earlier with chatrooms and forums, since I became popular for my ability to roleplay. Roleplaying actually helped my writing style to develop. I only recently took the plunge to sell my writing online. My videos, though, were simply to fulfill my dream to be a spanker in spanking videos. Male spankers are truly a dime a dozen in such videos, and many are either paid poorly, or work for free (or just the chance to spank whatever model they have for the shoot). Even so, I'd probably have been okay with that if any production companies were close to me. However, there aren't any nearby, so I'd have to travel a good distance to join any of the bigger companies. So, the other option was to film my own, so I did. It's not exactly a booming success, but brings in more money than it takes out. I still have to keep a normal job to maintain the bills, but it's a fun way to make extra cash.

I took a look at the blog in your signature, though I haven't spent too much time looking around. Does that take some work to put together regularly? Well, I try to at least post daily, so that's a good bit of work to stay on top of it. It isn't that difficult, though, since it's mostly writing, which I'm good at. I actually have several blogs, though the one in my signature is the one that takes the most work.

I can definitely tell from your response that spanking is indeed near and dear to you (and the interest in D&D and other nerdy exploits is awesome - Elliya Lolthu!)

You said you've been an active part of the spanking community for 10 years now, so I won't badger you about that - I guess I'm mostly interested to see how other people came to understand this part of themselves. I mean, I know I've been interested in spanking for about 10 years now myself, but it only been recently that I've finally accepted it as a piece of who I am. You've clearly integrated it as part of yourself, but I'm wondering if that was always the case - and if not, how did you cope with it until you came to terms with it?

Right then, shutting up now to allow for more responses - and I'm hoping other people will ask questions too! I just happen to be bored, interested in other members of the site, and have a lot of spare time on my hands as of late...

Was spanking always this significant in your life? When did you realize it, and was it hard to come to terms with it? It's had varying significance in my life, but I remember having fantasies about spanking since before I was even a teen. I always imagined the neighborhood girls getting spanked, and they were always naked I my mind. Not sure where that came from, though. Back then, a lot of comics had spanking in them (like Richie Rich and other books from Harvey Comics), so that's probably one place where it worked its way into my psyche. I also attended a private Christian school back when paddling wasn't frowned on as much, and watching some of the girls walked out into the hall when they were bad could also have been a part. I didn't actually realize that I had a fetish, though, until I was 18 or 19 and stumbled across a copy of a spanking magazine in a used bookstore. I started collecting spanking videos and magazines, but still didn't get into the spanking scene at the time. I actually had a very dismal social life before I joined the spanking community, so I never had a girlfriend before my thirties. I did have some mild spanking experiences in those lean years, but it was with strippers and escorts (aka, prostitutes) who really had no interest in the practice. So, when I turned 31 and found my first real spankos, I was a changed man. I've never had any trouble coming to terms with it, and am very “out” about who I am. My family knows that I”m a spanko, and my friends know that I'm a spanko. It just came naturally to me. It also helped me with my confidence problems that I had before, so I'm actually better off now than I was before.

I guess I'm mostly interested to see how other people came to understand this part of themselves. It wasn't anywhere near as satisfying as the real deal, though.

What Family would, most spanko's keep their fetish/interest secret..though when my 16 and 20 year old girls were younger, they caught me on this site viewing the gallery..embarrassed, never brought up since except in fun..
