Default Jocelyn sits for Jerry (private)

Name: Jerry (Jeremy) Edwards
Age: 6 (or 6 and a half as he'll insist)
Weight: 20 kg
Height: 1.08 meters (both at the small size for his age)
Appearance: Sleight of build, very bond hair, blue eyes, mischievous smile.
Personality: A lively and curious boy, loving and loved, but his curiosity and notion that he is NOT too little to do that often lead to his getting into trouble. His father died in the Korean war, and his mother has raised him on her own since he was two. He likes to think he's the "man of the house" and his mother does encourage his independence since she is on her own with him. She has spoiled him a bit to try to make up for his loss of a father, but she's not above giving him a good spanking when he has earned one. Unfortunately this happens with some regularity.
====================================

Six-year old Jerry Edwards sat on the edge of his bed and listened to his mother explain it again. She had to go away on business and he was too young to go with her, but Jocelyn was a nice girl and would take good care of him. Jerry pouted and said he was going to stay in his room the whole time she was gone. His mother sighed and started to talk to him again explaining she would be away for quite a while. Just then the doorbell rang.

She went down to answer it. "Hello, Jocelyn." she said opening the door. "Jerry is upstairs sulking. We'll leave him be for a bit." She showed Jocelyn around and pointed out the emergency numbers on the board in the kitchen. Jerry crept part of the way down the stairs. But when they returned to the front hall, he ran back upstairs.

His mother saw the fleeing child and gave a little smile. She knew her son was just too curious to stay up in his room for long. She called up to him. “Jerry, come down please.”

Jerry made a point of returning to his room and opening and shutting the door as if he’d been there all along. He came down the stairs slowly. His mother put an arm around his shoulder when he stopped on the last stair. Jerry hid a bit behind her leg. “Jerry, this is Jocelyn Phillips. Do you remember her? It’s Mrs. Phillips daughter. She’s been at college. Do you remember your manners?”

Jerry held out his hand and shook the sitter’s had when she said hello. “Hello, Jocelyn Phillips.” he said. His mother asked. “Do you prefer he call you Jocelyn or Miss Phillips? That’s maybe a little formal, but it should be your choice.”

His mother kissed his forehead. “Now Jerry, I have to go, but I want you to be a big help to Jocelyn and show here where everything is. And listen to her and behave yourself. You know what will happen if you’re naughty.”

Jerry shook his head ‘no’ as his hands reached back to cover his bottom. He wasn’t saying he didn’t know. He was saying no he wouldn’t be naughty. But his hands said he did know exactly what would happen. Of course both his mother and Jocelyn caught his actions and knew he knew. “That’s right, Jeremy.” his mother told him using his formal name as she often did when he was to be spanked. “If you’re naughty, Jocelyn will spank you just like Mommy does. She’s been studying to be a teacher in college and you know teachers spank naughty children.”

Jerry nodded his head yes. Unfortunately he did know that. He also knew mommies found out and often spanked again.

His mother continued “And she’ll take your pants and undies down just like Mommy does, too.” The latter was to make sure both Jerry and Jocelyn both understood. Mrs. Edwards had already talked to Jocelyn about spanking Jerry if he misbehaved, but she was letting her know how Jerry was usually spanked, while letting Jerry know there would not be a change in routine.

Appearance of My Character:
Name: Jocelyn Phillips
Age: 23
Height: 1,68m
Weight: 63 Kg
Personality: Lively and caring, aiming for high goals as a female teacher, likes feeling superior to males. Hobby is horseriding on her uncles Cottage and Babysitting for friends of the family.
History: She was raised in a forced marriage family and had to witness how her dad ended up beating her mom down while her mother protected her from suffering the same fate. If the man of the house wasn't drunk or working he mostly went with friends someplace else. To her he was just a brute showing his face here and then and his attitude predetermined an important part of her personality since she tried to strive being equal to men or standing above them. This ended with her having very few friends since most women those days feared their fates would get worse if they would socialize with her. Nonetheless she always managed to reach the next step up until now.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Being glad to have a job as a Babysitter again after a log time, Jocelyn wanted to make her best first impression even though they happened to know each other. The Edwards and Phillips Families happened to befriend each other when her Dad allowed himself to die at an accident on his work and since her Mom was pretty submissive she happened to be the head of the family now. Other than most women she wore rather boyish clothes, at the moment an anthracite suit and a white shirt having the first three buttons undone.

walking over to the Edwards House with a lively smile on her face she shifted her shoulders pressing the doorbell and hoped everything would work out well and little Jerry would be as usual with her around. When the door opened and she got greeted her face shined cheerfully. "Hello Misses Edwards. Hope you had a nice day until now and I'm not too late for a little guidance on the job." she greeted the woman back.

Hearing that Jerry's mood wasn't the best she had a little pitty in her face. "Well, I guess every boy who loves his mother would do so in this situation..." she tried to make a little excuse for his demeanor, knowing this already from other jobs. Being happy that there was still time to be lead around taking in all what the mother told her and where to find important things.

Seeing how cute Jerry acted made her smile in awe at the young child, bending down to his level to look into his face. She waited until Miss Edwards finished introducing her to the boy and then she greeted him herself. "Hi Jerry! You've grown quite a bit since the last time I saw you. We played a little on your Families last barbecue...do you remember?" she tried to settle for a talk.

Seeing what a little gentleman he was shaking her hand and calling her by her family name she had to chuckle a bit lovingly. When his Mother asked her how she wanted to be called she only explained "Oh, Jocelyn or Jo will do just fine. We already know each other and I am still only a Trainee and not a real teacher." looking then back to the child. "Lets look forward to being friends, right Jerry?" she said bearing her gleaming smile again.

Getting a bit embarrassed then by the goodbye scene she had seen quite some times and knew perfectly what his mother meant with her statement she decided to keep quiet and just let it be over quick. Actually most parents stated if they wanted their kids to receive punishment but it was rare to do that in front of the kid and so outright.

Leaving her eyes on Jerry to flirt a little whenever she had the chance she tried to pay attention to what his mother still had to say. When her host had finished, Jocelyn took over the talk right away trying to end this awkward mood. "...but if you are a fine young man and do what I tell you nothing like that has to happen and we could make Mommy proud of you." she tried to cheer Jerry up after giving his mom a glance that she was up to the task if needed.

Jerry definitely liked that Jocelyn said she was going to be his friend. That made him feel a bit more like equals. "Yeah, Mommy we can be like friends like at the picnic." Jerry told his mother. And he nodded his head to show just how much he agreed with his own statement. He didn't actually remember his sitter too much. Oh he knew who she was, but she was so much older than he, that he thought of her as an adult not a kid.

"I like 'Jo'." he told her though he said "Joe" or would have done so if he'd known there was any difference in the male and female names. Jerry was just at the stage when he thought girls had cooties and that boys were much better. Of course, that didn't really apply in this case, it was just girls his own age who had cooties. His mother certainly, didn't and he was willing to give Jo the benefit of the doubt on that.

"We'll make Mommy proud of me -- both of us." Jerry was sure that would be true. Overconfidence was one thing he was not lacking.

His mother gave him a kiss and a hug and said goodbye to them both. She told Jerry to show Jocelyn around. She'd already done so a bit, but thought Jerry might like to as well and that it would break the ice. Jerry promised he would as she went out the door. He ran to the picture window in the living room and knelt on the couch looking out the window. He watched as his mother's car backed out the drive. He waved and got an answering toot of the horn before she drove off.

Jerry waited until the car was out of sight. Then he jumped off the couch and looked more closely at Jocelyn. He pointed at his chest where his name 'Jerry' was stitched on on his pocket. He was wearing an Air Force jacket with captain's wings on the sleeve. It was a bit incongruous with his blue shorts and bare feet. "This is my captain's jacket. It's just like Daddy's. Like Daddy's was. It's just for special, but Mommy said I could wear it to show you when you came. She did honest."

Jerry had been having a few 'discussions' recently with his mother about honesty. The discussions had involved a sore bottom and he was now quick to point out when things were the truth. The rest of that truth was he was supposed to hang the jacket back up when he'd shown Jocelyn because it was too warm for it right now and his mother didn't want him playing in it. That part of the truth seemed less important to him at the moment.

"I can show you everything." he told Jocelyn and took her hand. "This is the living room." he waved his free hand in a swing. It was a neat room and though she might not realize it yet, it would be obvious to Jocelyn in a bit, that Jerry probably didn't play in here much.

He headed for the stairs and went up them. "That's Mommy's room." he said pointing to one end of the hall. He went inside and showed her. Connecting off his mother's room, but also with a separate door off the hall was another bedroom. Jerry walked to that door and after a moment of hesitation pushed the door open. "That's Mommy's office. She does stuff in there. You're not s'posed to play in there. That's the rule." Jerry rubbed his bottom a couple of times as he said this remembering just what had happened last Sunday

Halfway down the hall, Jerry pointed into another room. "Mommy said you're gonna sleep in this room. It's the guest room. Gramma slept there, too, but she went home."

He skipped down the hall to a room on the end. "This is my room." he said proudly. There were toys scattered all over the floor and a toy box was open against the wall. "This is my bump [bunk] beds. And that's my dresser and my bookshelf." Jerry pointed. "And that's all."

"Oh that's my closet." he added. "I drew that Superman." he said pointing at a picture cut from a coloring book that he'd colored. "And know what? I've got Superman jammies." He opened the closet door and pulled a pair of blue pajamas off a hook that did have the Superman S shield on the chest. Hanging on the back of the closet door was a paddle. Jerry didn't even think about that as it was always there -- well always there except when his mother told him to go get it and bring it to her.

"I'm six and a half. How old are you?" Jerry asked suddenly. He recalled as he did so that his mother had told him it was impolite to ask a lady her age so he quickly asked, "Are you a lady or a girl? And how come you got boy's clothes?" [I took your description "suit" to be something Jerry might think was men's clothing. If that's not what you intended, just ignore this and I'll delete it.]

Jocelyn was ever so happy her plan had worked out so fast. The little comforting words she had said were enough to cheer him up and break the stiff and stern, a bit painful athmosphere the mother had caused by stating how he had to be punished if he went wrong. It wasn't hard to remember it though since the experienced sitter already had spanked different aged boys and girls...always cutting the girls some slack while being very, very precise with the boys.

Trying still to innocently philander with Jerry giving him cheering looks, fondling his shoulder or give him a caring pad on the head she saw his mom off with him. "I promise she will be proud of you when she returns. We just have to care for one another a little bit and do what the other tells...then no one will have to get punished and once she returns you can have lots of praises." she tried to encourage him even further to be a good boy.

When they finally were alone he came forward introducing her to...his Jacket, trying obviously to brag a little with it. She decided to bare with Jerry's machismo for now but still her smile was a bit off. "Well, its a Jacket...nothing else really. It is the one who wears it who counts!" she said knowing it would confuse him at his tender age but actually she didn't want to be all cheery about something she didn't like.

"Yes, you can do that. I need to know where we will play together and stuff...or where we could tend to you if you get a bump. Your Mom already showed me the kitchen and bath and I guess where you came from is your room, right?" she said holding his hand tight yet careful, her own hands being warm and soft almost compareable to his young ones.

She had to think a little about the Jacket since it seemed rather precious and while it was warm it was clear he shouldn't play around with it too much. Seeing to take it back once he finished showing her around she followed and let the boy do the rest trying to build up some trust.

She tend always to give a little sound of acknowledging when he sad something to show she listened and looked into the directions he pointed towards trying to remember everything, blowing up her cheeks after a while knowing she might end in the wrong rooms once or twice at the beginning.

The Babysitter chuckled when the boy came back to brag about his stuff. "Ah, thank you. You live quite nice here. Must be hard to remember all the different rooms huh?" she asked ignoring his tries to make himself interesting. When she realized he stared at a rather fierce looking spanking paddle that hung at the back of his closet she took a few quick steps snatching it and burying it under her arm. "I guess we'll get rid of that one for now." she said convincingly giving him a wink with an eye.

Since it was a childs room, there was plenty of other stuff she could replace it with who were flat and tough enough to give a good firm impression...like the fairy tale books every kid had somewhere.

"Hm, that sounds like we could be brother and sister. I'm pretty young for my size you know?" after she stated that it was clear what would come next as he asked her about being girl or lady. "Well, every Girl will be a lady someday..." Jocelyn tried to explain "...lets say I'm something in between of that. Just call me a friend. Thats okay." Jerrys question about her clothes made her sigh a bit as she smiled. "Buuh...well, I guess I wear them cause they look good on me. Its just like with you and that Jacket. We're comfortable wearing that stuff."

Seeing this as a good chance to try and bring him to lay down the too warm Jacket the babysitter fanned herself a little wind into the face. "Fuuuh...its getting really hot now today. Lets leave our Jackets here or we might catch a cold if we sweat too much. I'm pretty sure you don't want that nice Jacket to get all clingy and smelly so fast, right?" Jocelyn opened he sakko and tried to help him get his Jacket off hoping it would work if they both would get more comfortable.

thinking a little to herself she actually wondered if his Mom actually had made him something to eat. "Did you have Lunch already? If you like, we could try and prepare something together. You could help me with bringing me the stuff I need or wash some vegetables. Cooking can be fun if we do it as a team!" she tried taking the initiative from him and making the boy join her in something productive.

Jerry flinched just a bit when Jocelyn grabbed the paddle. He was quite sure he'd done nothing wrong, but he didn't like to think about the paddle at all. Mommy didn't always use a paddle, but it really stung when she did. "Yeah we can get rid of it. Let's throw it in the trash!" Jerry suggested. "Oh ... Well Mommy wouldn't like that I don't think, but we can get rid of it for you being here, OK? And the other one, too." he added though he didn't say where this other one was. He wasn't exactly hiding that information, he just kind of assumed everyone would know paddles were kept in the kitchen drawer.

He was quite willing to just have Jocelyn as a friend and didn't really care if she was a girl or lady. She certainly wasn't a little girl. He sized her up when she said the clothes looked good on her. Then he nodded. "Uh huh, they do look good on you." he said. "It's polite saying that." he added. And he smiled when she said the jacket looked good on him.

He looked carefully at his jacket and sniffed at the arm. "It's not smelly." he said holding out the arm for Jocelyn to confirm with her own sniff. But he took it off with no further comment with her help. "I gotta hang it up in the closet, Jocelyn. Not on a hook just on a hanger. Mommy said." He got a hanger and hung the jacket on a low bar he could reach in the closet. "Do you gotta hang your jacket? You can use the high bar. But you gotta closet in your room too, and it only has a high bar, but I think it's not too high for you because of you're tall."

Together they went to her room and he showed her where her closet was before they went down to fix lunch.

"I can help Jo." He told her. "But I'm not allowed to use the stove or the oven except if I'm right with Mommy. I think maybe I can do it with you because I did it with Gramma and Mommy didn't get mad even a little. We got ham and bologna and cheese and bread and mustard, but I don't like that I just like plain sammiches?"

It was clear the boy might have gotten more than the usual share of bottom smacking the way he told her to get rid of it. She hid the mean thing in her Sakko for starters so it was out of sight and made him worry no more. "I will help you get rid of it...so lets make a promise to each other." Jocelyn's voice got all ceremonical "You will promise me to be the best young boy you can be..." then she nudged his noses tip teasingly with her index finger "...and I promise as long as I am here and even if you might feel like deserving it...I won't use those paddles on you." the babysitter looked at him like she truly meant it, though already knowing with what she had to replace it. "Will we do that?"

Getting him out of the jacket posed itself as easy as she thought it would be. "Ehm...right. Its not smelly yet but being so warm outside it would soon start to smell and I guess you want to wear it more often, do you?" everything seemed to shift to her favor as she helped him to hang it up and let Jerry guide her to her room, being actually a bit relieved for not having to end up maybe in the toilet or cellar instead. "Thanks little man. You're really helpful." the sitter said rubbing gently over his hair.

With her Sakko being hung up finally the paddle was completely out of the picture making her feel relieved a bit. the cute boy seemed to be in high spirits to cook with her and as she heared him say all of that she explained righteously "Oh, thats gonna be okay. I gonna replace Mom for this time and look after you. Just try to keep away from dangerous objects...there are enough things you can help me with while we prepare some really good sandwiches." her eyes were all lighted up as this could turn out to be an almost perfect start for them.

Walking him to where she believed the kitchen was she had to admit the house was a little different than her own families as she embarrasedly stared into the wrong room. "Eeehehe...." she tried to laugh to hide her embarrassement "...ehm okay. This way...I think." so much for the almost perfect start. Being glad that her second guess had been on spot and they had found the kitchen Joselyn started to give some orders. "Okay, lets first prepare everything and then put it on bread. What would you like on those Sammiches?" she said trying to copy his cutesy talk. "Lets bring anything on one table and then get busy." the sitter rolled up her arm sleeves knowing this would prove to be fun.

Jerry nodded in agreement. "You won't need to even use nothing, Jo, because of I promise Mommy already I'd be super good. I did that before you came. That's why you didn't hear me." Jerry meant that promise, too, though whether his actions would match his determination remained to be seen.

About his jacket he told her, "Mommy says I look just like Daddy when I wear it, but I don't remember what he looks like. I just remember his picture only. I gotta picture of him and Mommy has lots."

When they went downstairs and Jocelyn went into the wrong room, Jerry giggled. He thought she was just playing a game with him like when his mother made a deliberate mistake. Continuing the "game" he offered no help and Jo picked the right door. "That's much better." he praised her. Though he knew of course she could have done it right the first time -- or so he assumed.

As Jo began taking charge, Jerry hurried around getting everything they needed. He got teh cold cuts out of the fridge and the mustard, mayonnaise, and other condiments. But he told Jocelyn, "I don't want any of those on my sammich, OK? Mommy says it's OK. I think they're not a vegetable and you don't gotta eat them." He then got the bread out of the breadbox. He got both rye and white bread. "Know what. I made a sammich with one rye bread and one white bread one time. Mommy said I was silly, but it was real good, honest."

He got some potato chips without being asked. Mommy usually gave him carrot sticks or celery, but sometimes she gave him chips. Then he had a truly wonderful idea. "Do you want me to get us Cokes for lunch? I can open them and I can get the ice." This was a wonderful idea, because Jocelyn might actually say yes. Jerry’s mother would never let him have a coke for lunch at home. She might if they were out someplace or at a picnic or something, but at home she insisted he drink milk. Jerry loved to drink Cokes. He loved the taste. He loved how it tickled his nose. And he loved that it made him burp. Needless to say his mother didn’t like that last part. She insisted he excuse himself if it happened and if it happened too often she would get cross. But it was great fun outdoors at a picnic where she didn’t hear.

Jerry wouldn’t even have considered asking his mother but now headed to the pantry to get the Coke trying to appear that it was the most common thing in the world for him to do. But he couldn’t help but think that Jocelyn would call him back or even swat him as he passed for even thinking about it.

The sitter didn't say a thing as Jerry giggled. It had been her own fault for not remembering the right door but when he came to praise her for finding the kitchen in a manner she clearly stated as being cocky, she gave him a little bump on the head just to get him back to his place. Nothing too painful. "Don't get ahead of yourself little man. You don't have to be mean just because I made a mistake. You wouldn't want me to be mean to you, do you?" she asked him still in a rather nice manner.

Trying to help him with the stuff for the sandwiches she didn't quite get what he meant with he didn't want any of that stuff on them. It sounded a bit strange to her that he only wanted to eat bread slices. "Uhm...please?" she asked wondering "So, what would you like to put on your sandwich then? Wouldn't nothing be a bit boring?"

When he came along with the chips her alarm went on since they were trying to make lunch and he obviously wanted to stuff himself with calories. "Ah, ah, ah...thats for later! Don't spoil your appetite with snacks...we gonna eat soon, you know? And I think Coke won't do either...don't you have any juices around you may like? Theire much better Jerry!"

"I wasn't being mean, Jo." Jerry insisted and didn't think he had been. He rubbed his head with a bit more emotion than required playing a little for sympathy. He had thought it was a game. But he quickly forgot that and got down to helping with lunch.

Again thinking she was teasing him as his mother would, he laughed when she said nothing would be boring on a sandwich. "Not nothing nothing." he told her. "Just no mayonnaise and no mustard. I want ham and the cheese with holes in it. The yellow kind not the orange kind with no holes. And I want one rye bread on the bottom and one white bread on top. Do you like crusts? Mommy says it makes your hair curly and I think she's right because I like crusts and I got curly hair. Gramma says I should be a girl because I got curly hair, but I think boys are better." He stopped when he realized what he'd said. "I mean they're better for me. Probably a girl is better for you, huh?"

He knew he couldn't eat the chips before lunch. His mother would have been firm on that as well. "The chips are for with lunch, Jo. Not before, OK?" His mother might agree to that so maybe Jo would he thought.

Unfortunately she seemed to squash his idea of Coke. Though just maybe it wasn't completely gone. "I already had juice today, Jo. I had O.J. (orange juice) for breakfast. Juice is just better for breakfast, Jo. I think Coke is more better for lunch." He gave Jocelyn his award-winning I'm-so-cute-you-couldn't-deny-me-anything smile. It was guaranteed to work on his grandmother and had even been known to work on his mother on occasion.

"Well, what would you think if someone laughs at you one moment and the other gives you a praise? It sounded rather cocky to me" trying to put her point up without getting angry her hand went through Jerrys hair once. "Okay, if you really didn't meant it that way then I am sorry. " she said truthfully.

Realizing she just thought the wrong way she gave him an accepting nod to state he didn't have to eat mustard or mayonaise. "Thats fine, you can't like everything and ayonaise and mustard aren't really something you have to eat. How thick would you like your bread slices to be?" Jocelyn asked showing him with the knife how much she would cut off from the loaf. She tried helping him to a halfways acceptable lunch sticking to his wishes what he wanted and let him help put everything together.

When the talk came to crusts she just said "I like the soft part better since its easier to chew. If you like them so much I would share my crusts with you. I like my hair as it is...I don't need it to be curly." she tried to make up for the mistake in front of the kitchen as he stated a bit of his point towards men again."Listen well, there are boys because there are girls. You can't have one without the other and that means they are equal. Those who end up being worse are the ones who say this or that is better." the babysitter knew he wouldn't really understand a real explanation so she tried to explain her point as short and simple as she could.

Hearing his bargains she shook her head. "To me chips are for after a meal not before or during it. They are a simple snack so you can eat them once you finished your sandwiches." when he tried to convince her about the coke she was sure not to give up. "Coke is just good for getting fat and a hurting tummy if you drink too much. If you like and we have all we need I would offer to make you a lemonade if you don't like juice." she tried to join into his bargain.
