Spirits, Psychics, and Spankings (For MR_AZ)
The sound of heavy rain pounding down against the earth was a comforting sound to Miranda Lawler's ears. Or at least, it would have been, if the 14 year-old girl was curled up in a blanket under a solid roof and not walking through it. It was a crappy end to a crappy day, in Miranda's mind. School had been absolutely dreadful: First, Mandy, a rather mean-spirited cheerleader, had tugged down her gym shorts when a bunch of boys were looking... After that, some girls had taken and hidden her clothes, so she was late to class and was scolded by the teacher. After the situation had been explained, the tardy had been cleared, but it still had been extremely embarrassing to have to stand in front of the class and get reprimanded. Now, she had to walk home through a thunderstorm. Lovely.
Miranda wasn't even sure why the other girls picked on her so much... She kept to herself, and didn't talk to anyone, usually only speaking when asked a question by a teacher or thanking someone for holding a door. Maybe it was because her grades were so good? Were they really jealous of her for that? They were beautiful, came from rich families, and had the most attractive guys in school as their boyfriends. Would they really bully Miranda because they were jealous? Or did they just get some kind of sick pleasure out of doing it, because they knew that she would just take it, and not do anything about it? While Miranda didn't hate them personally (she wasn't that type of person to dwell on hate) she really resented the way they treated her, and wished they would stop.
Cold, wet, and generally miserable, Miranda continued to march through the rain. Her red hair was darkened and messed up due to the heavy rainfall, and she would probably need to buy new shoes, as the puddles had pretty much ruined these.

Unknown to her two girls, some of the ones that Mandy commanded, were looking at her, one blonde wearing an expensive coat, known as Cindy Dunstan. the second in command after Mandy, beautiful and deceiving to no end, and Angel Moers, a brunette who wore some very expensive looking braces.
"There she goes" Angel smiled while Cindy seemed to be more focused on her nails.
"Oh..." Cindy muttered and smirked. "Well, let's walk her home" She invited, taking her umbrella and guiding Angel out their temporary refuge and in chase of the other girl.
"Think Mandy's plan will work tonight?" Angel whispered to the blonde girl, who just hushed her and put her most angelical face on as they approached the red headed girl. "Heey, Miranda, right?" She called, pretending not to remember her name. "What are you doing out in this storm?"
The brunette girl at her side smiled at her too and invited her to the protection of their umbrellas. "We're aware of Mandy's doings, we wanted to tell you that we're not like her, she's our friend, but, at times she gets a bit... bad" She shrugged. "We could walk you home, that way you wouldn't have to get any more wet"

Miranda looked completely pitiful as she looked at the two girls, both taller than her. She didn't trust them, as they had pointed and laughed as her white, bubble-pattern panties were exposed to the gym class, but as she stood their, shivering in the hard, heavy rain, the roof provided by their umbrellas looked very inviting. Miranda moved timidly beneath the umbrella, partly to get some temporary relief from the monsoon-like weather, and also so they could hear her tiny, quiet voice when she spoke.
"Y-yes, I'm Miranda," she said, distrust flickering in her big brown eyes as she looked from one girl to the other. They had been going to school for weeks now. She KNEW they knew who she was. "M-my parents are both working right now so I have to walk home."
She really didn't want to talk to them... Not because she was a mean person, but she just got so nervous when she was talking to people!
"A-and I really appreciate your offer, b-but it's a REALLY long walk, and I-I wouldn't want to waste your time... I-I'm really not worth it," she squeaked.

Angel smiled and got closer. "Oh, then you reject the offer?" She asked with a sweet smile on her face as she rounded the girl while Cindy stayed just in front of their victim, or prey, which would the most fitting term.
"It's sad to know that your parents both work all the time" Cindy mentioned, getting closer. "Is that why you are always, alone?" She half mocked to which Angel smiled even more. "I mean, apart from them you seem to have no one, not even at school"
"like if no one else liked you, and still you refuse our help" Angel said, from behind her.

"I-I said I appreciated it," Miranda squeaked, her face growing hot as the girls taunted her. "And they get home later... They're around," she insisted.
She wasn't sure why Angel was moving behind her, but she didn't like it. Then again, she didn't like having her back to Cindy either, so she stayed facing the second-in-command of the vicious group of girls.
"I-I just don't you guys to go out of your way to help. Thanks for offering. I really, REALLY appreciate it... I mean, really, I do," Miranda kept stating, growing more nervous. She wanted to run, but it would be difficult to outrun these girls with her heavy backpack across her shoulders. If she thought about it, she probably couldn't outrun them without the backpack...

"I doubt you really do so" Angel smiled, seizing her from behind suddenly. "Let's review this, Miranda, you do and accept from us, everything."
"Else things will get badly... for you, sweety" Cindy said, pinching her cheek then nodding, it was then when Angel let go of her, so roughly that she fell on the muddy dirt patch near them.
"Hope you learn" Cindy called and waved at her before retiring with Angel behind her.
