Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

Japanese?
Does anyone actually speak japanese? I don't know if there is already a thread for this but if there is I'll take this down, I found some things from a comic that I can't find a translation for so I was wondering if anyone could do it for me, and then PM the text. Thanks!

I don't, but I have a bunch of friends who are able to speak, so they teach me a little. It's because there is very good section of japanese philology on my university and I was visiting some courses there. Those were mainly about history (I am future studying history), no language, but you have to learn few words to understand a topic.

There are a few Japanese speakers on site - at least, well enough to let you know what a page is about and whats being said.
There isn't any kind of glorified service though, sadly~
If its spanking related (and only one or two pages) stick it up in the manga/doujin gallery and we'll see if our resident /r/otk anon can help~

あの、私は日本語をべんきょうしていますが、私の日本語はわるいですよ。。。!
^ Um, I'm studying Japanese, but my Japanese is bad...!
I hope to become fluent in Japanese some day and plan on minoring in it. I know enough Japanese to survive in Japan but probably not enough to help you ^^;;; Sorry!

Also you have much beter chance with translation help with printed kanji rather than hand written, as hand written is much much harder

I finished my first semester of Japanese a few months ago... It was annoying because the class moved VERY slowly. The teacher didn't want to leave anyone behind, evidently... I try to study on my own time, now.
