The melody of the Hearts: A pokemon family roleplay.
Good evening AOTK, with the new year upon us, I’ve come to the conclusion that the time is ripe for me to start a roleplay that been nagging at me since the start of advent. What idea you might ask, a pokemon roleplay, now I know we have a thousand and one pokemon roleplays. And while I could try to spin a idea in say my original setting of ‘Somerset’ or ‘Oshima’ I would prefer to use this setting for the following reasons.
1) Pokemon can be very dark if one has in-depth understanding of the countless mythos that swirl around the games, and in-game lore. The very fact that the pokemon world allows players to created there own mythos is big reason why I feel this setting is still valid as setting. Despite the fact its overused as is.
2) Pokemon can also be very light and playful. The word of pokemon as we know it is filled with pastel colored creatures, characters and cities. But even a pastel colored tree can cast a darken shadow. Its this balance of darkness and light that draws me in, and will be a common hallmark of are roleplay.
3) Its pokemon! Enough said moving on to the setting!
The setting of the roleplay is in the province of Johoto. The action will center on a little farm that sits at the points where Route 38 & 39 join together. The center of action is a small ranch that raises Mareep.. For there wool of course. The characters in the roleplay would be a mother, a father and there two children. Maybe a son or a daughter or two daughters. Spanking will be part of the roleplay along with maybe a minor bit of sissing.
