Welcome to the new server
Hi All
This will be updated as we go along, but for now there is wonkiness! Due to a newer version of php and some incompatible code we've had to temporarily remove the latest images, fiction and videos section from the front page. We're hoping to fix this within 24/48 hours or sooner if we can.
We've moved to Germany since the price is going to be much cheaper. The new single server is about equal in power to the two old servers we had, we've also enabled Cloudflare for static file caching. All in all you should see a good increase in the speed of the site.
Please report any and all errors so we can work to fix them!

Ah, so that's what happened. Sounds like the new move should help things considerably once the initial wrinkles are smoothed out. I'll keep my eyes open for bugs in the meantime.

Whew, that's a relief. Anyway, congrats on the move and finding a cheaper server. Thanks for everyone's hard work on maintaining the site.

Uploading was tested after the move and works fine for my account. Could you post the error you get when you try?

I've spent the last 4 hours trying to get everything working that I can, which was time that I didn't have to spend :-\. I fixed downloads. Was a permissions problem involving vesta's open_basedir settings. There is still an error at the top of the upload page that I don't think I can fix, as it might require downgrading to php5.3, which is not [easily] doable on centos 7. We can just hide the warnings though. I turned them on for now so we can monitor errors and fix as needed.
The warnings at the top of the upload section say:
Warning: Illegal string offset 'description' in [path]/downloads.php on line 1538
Warning: Illegal string offset 'id' in [path]/downloads.php(1554) : eval()'d code on line 2

Fixed ^_~ it was a conflct with another script that was only picked up in a later version of php. Earlier versions handled the error differently.

I don't know about anyone else, but the site clearly loads faster for me. It's got big forum pages and even massive GIFs and images in the gallery loading in split-seconds.
Even the gallery itself with the 150+ artists loads almost instantly.

I've been doing some massive tweaking over the past few hours so you might notice yet another jump in speed ^_~ A lot depends on if it's old stuff that isn't cached on cloudflare yet. The database tweaks should see load times improved for pages that don't get accessed as much.

Is there a way to add a subcategory in the Fiction section? I've got multiple chapters and am working on kind of a second series as well.
