Rhei and Rapunzel's Adventures (for Zeldafan64)
Rapunzel hummed to herself casually as if every critter or peephole in the tower might alert her caretaker Gothel of her plan. She was "Mom" to Rapunzel, but she just couldn't understand the younger woman's need to experience the outside world!
She slowly but surely been growing out her hair and through a careful network of ribbons and braids created a makeshift ladder for her to escape. Gothel had come by, given her lunch, and warned her she might not be back till late that evening, so now was the time for Rapunzel to attempt an escape if she was ever going to.
Rushing to the window, she wrapped her hair about a nearby branch, to hold it in place, and threw her ladder out the window, it went almost all the way to the bottom! She smiled, snagged her bag, (food and clothes in her pillowcase) and began quickly climbing down the ladder, it hurt a bit, being her own hair but she was too anxious to get out to mind.
At the bottom of the Tower, she tugged on the branch to get her hair to drop, but it stayed in place. Getting worried she tugged a little harder and shrieked when something small and black jumped up from behind a bush and tangled itself in her hair ladder.
She snagged a frying pan from her sack and made to scare the creature off, but there were several, little black shadowy things with yellow eyes...in short order she was surrounded.

Through space, Rhei soared through on his own Glider; due to him having the position of a Keyblade Wielder, he was subjected to many abilities such as weather elements and flight. It wasn't that long ago since he became a Keyblade Wielder let alone go on an adventure to find his family who evacuated after the downfall of Radiant Garden.
Currently, he had a new goal and that was to locate this young man named Sora to gain some advice and moves to improve in his fighting. Recently, he got a little rusty during his battles with the Heartless so he vowed to locate Sora, who he heard that defeated the strongest of beasts and beings alike. Besides, he needed to avoid those spankings from Tifa and Aerith!
Finally, he saw a strange world ahead and increased his speed, wondering if Sora was, or luckily is, there. He took landing in a forest, Glider disappearing into its 'pocket dimension' and walked off. He walked for a minute or so, before he heard a shriek. It made him flinch and then run to the source of that feared sound.
Finally, he saw a young blonde-haired lady with a pink dress holding a frying pan... in the middle of a circle of-
"Heartless!!" His Keyblade, a glowing emerald weapon, appeared in his hands, where he practically jumped in to battle these feral shadows who feast upon hearts.

The handsome youth moved like a fairy, his strangely shaped blade cutting through the little shadow creatures, and tearing them apart. Rapunzel smiled and cheered at his efforts, and even used her frying pan to take one or two of the little beasties down.
Soon they had all vanished or been dealt with. Rapunzel grinned at the boy who'd come to her rescue and at the feeling of victory. "W-what were those things? And excuse me! Boy! could you help get me down off my hair ladder?"

Rhei was familar with these Heartless, bringing the tip of his Keyblade to any pitch-black yellow-eyed face he could see. In a minute, they were all gone, where Rhei released a slight exhale.
"Huh...?" Looking over to see the 'damsel', though she helped in his scuffle, he put on a lazy smile and held his blade over his shoulder. "Your hair ladder-oh." He failed to notice this, as his attention was diverted and focused on the shadow beings. "How the heck is your hair so long...?" He approached her and brought up his blade to swing at the hair, eventually knocking it down after a few hits.
"Heartless. Those were the Heartless."

Appreciatively, Rapunzel began to undo the braided bits of her ladder to her hair would sit lighter. She smiled up at her new friend as she worked. "Hearltess? What are they? This is actually my first day out you see, and I don't know too much of the world. I would have thought Mama Gothel would have explained something as dangerous as that to me though."
She stood, repacking her back as she did so, noticing a dark cloud moving into the valley as she did.
"I'm Rapunzel by the way, what your name?"

"Heartless' are feral creatures that used to be people's hearts. They feed on them to gain more power, so you better watch your back. If they make it to the core, then you can kiss this world goodbye." Rhei said in a slight disturbed tone due to his experience with these monsters. He had to witness them from a young age but he was lucky enough to have his own heart protect him.
He looked down to see a snake, flinching at the sight of the golden... hair? That wasn't a snake, it was her hair, her extremely long hair. "Uh, name's Rhei. Mind filling on the details of that hell of a hair you got?"
