Leslie Mercer, a 34 year old woman with neck length auburn hair. Her eyes were an arctic blue. She was fit, 5'7", and a solid C cup. She wore a long blue dress. She worked as a special investigator that was occasionally called in to aid the police.

Leslie was off today, having drove quite a ways to reach her sister's home. She knocks on the front door, and [Cassandra's dad] greets her. She takes with Cassandra's parents for a bit before [Cassandra's mother] calls her down.

[Cassandra's mother] shouts "Cassandra, please come to the kitchen."

Cassandra Branson scowled at the sound of her mother's voice coming up the stairs. The redheaded girl had been in the process of trying to cram the clothes she was suppose to neatly pack the night before into her suitcase and couldn't help but feel a little put upon. How was she suppose to finish getting read to leave with these interruptions? It was like her mother actually expected her to have do something when she was told instead of the last minute, which was of course crazy talk. As it was she still hadn't even opened that link her mother had sent her about the place her aunt lived, as if she wouldn't be learning all about the place while she was there.

"Coming, " the petite tomboy called out as she shoved one last handful of shirts and jeans in and zipped up the bag. Taking one last look around she quickly shoved her phone in her pants pocket before stomping down the stairs. "What," she huffed out once she reached the kitchen only to come up she spotted the room's occupants. "Oh, hey Aunt Leslie. I thought you weren't getting here till later?"

Mother gives Cassandra a hug. "Hello angel. Are you all ready to go with Aunt Leslie?" She kisses Cassandra's forehead. She'd miss her baby girl, mother adored spoiling her little angel. She was very lenient, almost too muchly so.

"Did you read about Alance like your mother asked?" Father asks gently as he ruffles Cassandra's hair a little. He was the voice of strictness, what little it was, laying down time outs when they were needed. However for the most part he too let Cassandra get away with most things, mostly with just a light scolding.

Leslie was quickly unimpressed by her niece's behavior. Had her niece read about Alance she would know that girls must wear skirts or dresses so their naughty rears could be accessed easily. Cassandra's jeans were a big no no, not to mention the girl's disrespectful huff when she came in. Along with the fact that due to her and Cassandra's parents chatting for twenty minutes it was well after the time Cassandra was told to be ready by. Lucky for Cassandra Leslie was the least strict, though Leslie was far more strict than her little sister was... She hoped Cassandra would smarten up quickly, had her husband the petite girl's uncle Matthew come with her, instead of staying with her own daughter Lanna, Cassandra would have her bare bottom over her uncle's knee the moment her niece had entered the Kitchen in jeans using such a tone. She smiles at her niece, tossing Cassandra's attitude up to frustration of her parents' round the world second honeymoon. She smiles "Hello Cassie, perhaps you lost track of time, but it's almost an hour past when you were told to be ready. I know it will be different, but I'm sure you'll have fun once you get used to things. Do you not have any skirts or dresses Cassie?"

Cassandra made a face at her mother's attention but held her tongue. Sure she was a little annoyed at not getting to go on the trip her folks were taking but it would probably suck anyways and if they felt bad enough about leaving her she'd probably get some decent presents upon their return. "Oh yeah," she responded to her father with a small roll of her eyes, "I couldn't put it down."

Oh course she couldn't help a small frown at her aunt's words. "Sure," she snarked, "it's gonna be a blast." She was clearly unenthused and the follow up question did not make things better, bringing a scowl to her face. "Why would I need a dress? I thought we were going back to your place, not a wedding." Her words were laced with as much derision as she could manage. It was clear from her tone her bags were unlikely to contain any of either.

"My stuff's packed Daddy," she quickly changed the subject. "Can you get it into Aunt Leslie's car for me?" She gave her father her best smile and was pleased to see him go to take care of the luggage. She was well aware that while her mother was the type to slip her some spending money while saying her goodbyes her father was more the type to slip something into the pocket of her bag rather then make any kind of scene. So hopefully if she timed things right neither parent would think about the other taking care of it and she'd get a bit of cash from both.

Leslie shakes her head as she watches Cassie dig her own pit, she could have had a blast had she followed the rules...but Cassie wasn't going to have much fun with that attitude. She simply smiles calmly at Cassie "Very well Cassie, If you've read everything and that's your choice than jeans it is." She knew even if Cassie hadn't even packed proper clothing she could just wear some of Lanna's old clothes.

Mother gives Cassandra a tight hug, slipping some spending money in the back pocket of her jeans. "I know this will be hard on you angel, but you'll get lots of presents from all over the world when we get back."

Daddy comes back after putting his daughter's bag in Leslie's car, a little heavier with some spending money. He gives Cassandra a tight hug lifting her off the ground "Good bye angel, be good for your aunt and uncle." He puts her back down, releasing her.

Leslie offers Cassie her hand "Alright Cassie, come on, we have a bit of a drive ahead of us."

Despite her demeanor Cassandra returned each hug fiercely with a quite, "love you." While she wasn't happy with getting left behind the longest she'd been away from her parents before was a week for camp and she knew she'd miss them greatly.

Quickly looking to cover for her moment of sentiment, and the bit of wetness innher eyes that was definitely not tears, she threw on an extra bit of snark. "So how long will this take?" Truthfully she wasn’t sure of the distance as her parents had always seemed to avoid visiting her aunts family at their home for some reason. What she did know was that car rides tended to make her sleepy without a distraction so unless her aunt managed to draw her into a conversation the petite redhead would like be out cold be the time they reached the highway.

Leslie takes Cassie to her car, opening the door to the back seat for her niece. She replies calmly, "It's about three hours, but you'll be able to sleep through it. A nap might do you some good." Cassie was starting to get on her aunt's nerves though, she was not a big fan of snark, and Leslie was trying to ease Cassie into the change.

The redhead scowled at her aunter and crossed her arms over her chest. "I'm not some little kid," she complained in what was very close to a childish pout. Thinking her aunt couldn't be serious suggesting a nap to someone her age she was convinced she was being made funof instead. Her parents did like to tease her on occasion for the number of times she had been carried in from the car and even dressed fro bed without stirring in the slightest, however that was their thing and this was a poor timbe to encroach on thier territory.

In an effort to try and prove she could last the trip Cassandra began talking loudly about whst ever came to mind, which ended up mostly being complaints about the situation, and loudly singing off key. Despitr he efforts however they were less then half an hour into the drive before she was sprawled out across the backseat as much as her seat belt would allow and snoring softly.

Leslie listens to her niece's ranting, and noise making calmly, completely unfazed as she focused on driving. She breathes a sigh of relief when Cassie finally starts napping.... Cassie was going to have a bad day, but the little brat needed it. Leslie's sister was far too lenient on Cassie.

Once they arrived, Leslie gets out and opens Cassie's door, shaking her gently "Okay Cassie, time to get moving."

Leslie's home was a modest european white three story home. Surrounded by a medieval four foot high fence, open at the driveway and a gate down the front walk. The street was fairly busy with passing vehicles being connected to the main street. The air was thick with the salt air of the ocean.

"Five more minutes," Cassandra mumbled at the initial attempt to wake her. A few moments of effort later yielded results however and she blearily cracked open her eyes. Seeing they were stopped and her aunt was trying to wake her she let out a displeased sound and began fumbling with her seat belt.

Normally she might have taken a moment to admire the admittedly lovely house, perhaps even given a polite complement, however having just been woken up she was not yet at her best. Instead she gave the house a glass followed by a scowl and a grunt before she moved towards the trunk of the car. Grabbing only the lightest of her bags and leaving the others for someone else to deal with she started trudging towards the front door. "Are we gonna eat so," she rudely asked as she passed her aunt.
