"Well...I did kidnap you and hold you against your will, and then tan your hide I suppose." Victor said with a small, dry smile. He didn't feel any regret, but he doubted Killian felt the same way. His trip down memory lane brought back some very bittersweet feelings. "I suppose it would have been very hard with everyone's eyes on you, being the prince and all." Victor murmured with a soft sigh, a small smile tugging on the corner of his lips.
Simpler times, when the only thing he had to worry about was walling the silly rules that came along with being present at court. "I suppose it was always more fun when I didn't have to worry about offending some silly lord and lady." Victor chuckled softly, before a wider smile crossed his face. "I think you will. You have a good head on your shoulders." He said with a nod. There was always something to be said for convictions, and Victor honestly believed Killian would manage it.
Victor settled on the bed with a tired sigh, tugging the blankets over his body and turning away with Killian with a nod. "Make sure that you don't. We can't afford to be exhausted tomorrow...and who knows when we're going to have a bed next." He murmured, before stretching slightly and settling back down. "Don't stay up to late...we need to head out early." Victor reminded Killian, lightly reaching out and patting the prince's shoulder.
The bed would be a bit cramped, but they had no choice...Victor was honestly too tired to care.
