Steve walked around campus with a girl in a yellow dress named Jan. She was chattering excitedly about all the activities they have here and the how nice there training room is. Jan was showing him around, he had started his first year at avengers academy and he was sort of nervous.

Jan finally took him to his room, he'd be staying in. There was a guy already on his bed as Jan swung open the door."tony this is your new roommate", she came over and kissed his cheek in a saying hello way

"Showing him the ropes are we" he said back playfully to her he knew Jan for awhile they had never dated though even if they playfully flirted "cheated on any recent exams" he teased the woman as he pulled out books "oh hello by the way" he said waving to the other man as he flipped them open. Jan had once and been caught by Tony cheating on one test question and still gives her shift for it. It was college some times that just happened so he never ratted on her as he ran through his homework that he had been to lazy to do in the classes it wasn't like this stuff was exactly hard for him as he pulled out another book "welcome by the way freshman or higher?" He asked the other man.

Jan gave tony a pointed look, they were best friends,"this is Steve, he transferred from commandos, so he is a junior". He patted Steve sympatheticaly on the back, "be nice tony,or ill tell pepper. Call me if you need anything Steve", she walked out leaving the two of them alone. Steve put his shield and a backpack with his few possessions on the other bed before turning back to tony,"tony stark I'm guessing I actually worked with your dad for a bit. I'm sorry for your loss".

Tony let a blank look fall over his face as he plastered a pleasant smile on his face upon hearing about his father he quickly hopped away from that conversation "ya thanks so why the need to transfer" he asked switching the focus back to Steve as he placed a book back in his bag.

Steve didn't say anything about the conversation switch, hunched over his bag unpacking, "fury and ms. Potts actually came up to me and persuaded me". He loved commandos but he needs to go with the best opportunity and here he could afford to work only one job instead of 3. "The coach here even offered me quarterback on the football team", he stood tall over the brunette, he didn't realise how tall he was compared to tony.

Tony nodded "awsome sounds like you got it all figured out" he said finishing the last of the homework as he flung his backpack into the closet so it was out of the rooms view "so any big new school plans" he asked in conversation as he stretched having been in the same position for to long as he ran a hand through his dark hair looking to the taller man.

"Jan was saying I should run for class President but other than that no", he pulled out his sketch book. Placing it on his desk, then unpacked his few clothes he had hanging them up with care, he wrinkled his brow at how tony threw his stuff around like a spoiled child but didn't say anything.

Steve sat down on his bed untieing his shoes and removing them so he could put his free up there was a hook above his bed where he put his shield. He took off his shirt, looking at Tony,"jan didn't show me where the showers were mind pointing the way"

Tony looked at Steve in mild curiosity and annoyance seemed he was a golden boy he thought as he got up "ya sure follow me" he said as he got up and tugged on his shoes "not what I really meant though I meant do you party or anything" he asked "like a first day celebration kind of thing" he said as he went down six other doors and went down the the hall and went down two more doors "this is our communal shower" he said with fake ambiance as he held his arms out to the room at large as he stepped out of the shower room.

Steve raised an eyebrow at him,"its Wednesday, I have class tomorrow". His opinion of tony was getting worse and worse if Steve didn't know any better he'd say he was a spoiled rich brat living off of daddy's money but well Howard's not around. "Thanks" he said stripping down in the shower room.

Tony left the boy scout to do his thing as he made his way back to his room and answered any questions pepper asked of him through text since he was not only going to school but he was also trying to run his father's company's and have a social life as he sat on his bed and pulled a bottle out from under his bed and took a quick swig before placing it under his bed again. He wiped his mouth as he looked at his phone once more after his father's death pepper had offered to help him and the two managed to keep everything up and running despite the two being in school. He ran a hand through his hair as he took a deep breath wishing he could!d drink more but it was still early as he smiled at having found a party tonight as he sent the rest of his texts.
