Dovahkiin's Painful Adventure (for JosephLeeCollins)
The Companions of Jorrvaskr have been known for centuries, and famous ever the time of Ysgramor himself, when the original 500 Companions alongside Ysgramor came from Atmora and warred the Snow Elves. Nowadays their home is Whiterun, one of the main cities in the province of Skyrim, of which the location - close to the geographical center of the province - means anyone who wander around Skyrim will probably come into the city sometime.
Even though the city was usually a peaceful place, today something else was troubling the city; aside from the recent news of a dragon attacking Hellen and the fear of it coming to the city, giants were some of the most fearsome creatures to inhabit this land. Battle cries and the unstopping noises of sword slashing could be heard as three of the Companions - Aela, Farkas and Ria - danced around the creature, avoiding its powerful attacks while simultaneously attacking it, Farkas and Ria at nele range, Aela at distance with her bow.
Most of the guards wouldn't bother to help - they knew the Companions could handle the threat anyway. But a true warrior would never pass the chance of proving their value against a giant.

Coming up the road was a young-looking Breton. His name was Joseph and he was eighteen years old. He had short curly brown hair and hazel eyes that would appear blue or green depending on his attire. He wore steel armor (without the shoulder blades), Imperial gauntlets, and ancient Nordic boots. At his side was an iron axe.
He was a man on a mission. The village of Riverwood needed more guards to help defend it in case a dragon decided to lay them a little visit. So, he was on his way to Whiterun to request the Jarl for aid on their behalf. He owed them after Gerdur had given him some supplies and time to rest in her house. He idly wondered if Ralof was heading for Windhelm now?
As he got closer, he saw three people fighting a giant of all things and stopped to watch.

From the corner of her eyes, Aela noticed a young man she'd never seen before. Wearing an odd battle armor and carrying an iron axe, he stood there in the road to Whiterun. For a second Aela was pleased with the idea that this man was there to prove himself worthy, to help them to fight the giant - but his help never came. He just stayed there and watched as she and her Shield-Siblings slayed the beast. And it annoyed the huntress to no end.
She quickly rolled off the way of a tackle from the giant and then quickly finished dispatching it with two quick shots, each to one of the monster's ankles. As it fell to the ground, Farkas was already there and beheaded it with a powerful sword slash. Aela's pleased look didn't last long, however, as her attention immediately turned to the young man watching them and she started walking towards him as she sheathed her bow.
"Well, that's taken care of, and not thanks to you" She said angrily, her eyes stuck in a stern glare.

Joseph shrugged, “you were handling yourselves just fine. You didn’t need my help.” He looked at the red head. She looked every bit the stereotypical Nord warrior-woman. Giving her a nod of acknowledgement, he began to head for the city.

Aela nodded, but her stern expression didn't change. "Of course yes, but a true Nord wouldn't pass the chance of proving himself against a giant like you just did" She was about to speak again, when the young man turned around and started walking away. "Stop right there, I'm not done with you yet" The woman demanded as she stepped closer to him. Both Ria and Farkas watched in interest at the scene, both looking a bit annoyed too, though not as much as Aela.

Joseph stopped, turned around and gave her a deadpan look. “That may be true, but I’m not a Nord. I’m a Breton. Now, I would love to stay and chat, but I have urgent business to attend too. Have a good day,” he nodded at them and started walking again.

"What I meant with 'true nord' was a warrior" Aela said as she quickened her steps and grabbed Joseph's wrist as he once again tried to walk away from her "I said I am not done with you! Now you stay here and listen to me or else" She said with a glare. Farkas and Ria exchanged looks as they decided to go ahead and return to Jorrvaskr.
"Aela, since you'll be spending time with this boy, we're going back. See you later" Farkas told her as he and Ria - who gave her a quick goodbye wave - both walked to the Whiterun gate.

“OI! What part of “I have urgent business to attend to,” is an invite to grab me?!” He twisted his wrist out of her grip. Then he sighed, “if I agree to stay here while you chew me out, will you leave me alone? Who in Oblivion are you anyway?”

"And what part of the "I am not done with you yet" is an invite for you to turn around and walk away?" Aela asked back in the same angry voice as before. As he tried to twist his wrist away from her grasp, she tightened it, making it impossible for him to escape "I am Aela, from the Companions. And I'll leave you when I think we are finished. So you stay here until that or you'll face punishment"

He tilted his head in slight confusion, “who are the Companions?” Then he blinked, “punishment?”
