Ruby felt it was a job well done. Sure it wouldn't last, but she was able to cause some change for a while, and that was good enough for the time being. It wouldn't be the last time it was needed, of course, but she saw some results, and sometimes you take the victories you can find.
And of course, it was some time later when she remembered to let Mizore down, letting the vines release her - only to give her a spanking that combined all of the worst elements that all of the other girls had suffered.
