Dick finished his cookie as he walked over to the couch, looking up at Bruce slowly,"Talk?",he asked unsure on if he should stand or sit. Something told him to not look forward for this talk, but he wasn't sure on why he felt that way, sure he was punished before but everytime it was a shock all over again.

"Astronauts don't get sick because they don't live there, honey. They're just visiting," She explained, though she wasn't sure it convince him, "We can't live on the moon either. We have to stay right here."

Once Dick was in front of him, Bruce picked him up under his arms and brought him to sit on his lap. For now at least, "Yes, talk. Dick, when I said you could come with me up to the Watch Tower today, I told you that you had to behave and listen to me the whole time, didn't I? And what did I say would happen if you didn't listen?"

Dick got settled on Bruce's lap as he looked up at him as he spoke, only speaking when he asked him to, glancing down at the question,"Y-You.... You said.. that I'd get a...",he paused squirming slightly as he went quiet.

"It's... it's not that easy honey. Astronauts have a lot more help to get there then we do. And they're a lot older than you are too," she added. She wasn't quite sure what to do here, this wasn't an everyday conversation after all.

Bruce looked down at his son when he asked him what would happen if he didn't listen. He had made it very clear after all. When he didn't say it, but it was obvious what he meant, he nodded, "Mhm, I did. If you want to come with me as Robin, you need to always listen. And you didn't today. I'm sorry, but you will be getting a spanking for this."

"Ohh! ... They make it look easier on TV.. they even had a monkey in space... Then the man in the yellow hat had to go after him, cause he didn't know the monkey was going. And he takes care of the monkey!",Dick explained before sighing,"I guess I'll go when I'm older too!".

"B-But Daddy... It was one time...An I learned... You don't have to...do that.", He tried to reason with him, hugging onto his neck, laying his head onto his shoulder,"I'll be really good...".

"That's because it's a cartoon, baby. It's not real," Jen said with a chuckle. She should have figured he was basing this off of a kid's show. That would make a lot of sense after all.

Bruce sighed when Dick tried to butter him up and get him not to punish him. He was so tempted to not, but he had warned him. He pulled the boy away so he could look him in the eyes, "Richard, I warned you multiple times you had to behave or what would happen. You broke multiple rules today, first I told you to stay in my room and you didn't. Then I told you to stay with Superman and you didn't do that either. I can't let this go."

"Ohh... I had wanted to get a monkey like George..",he said softly, quite upset it wasn't real, though it let him feel better that it wasn't just him not being able to not live on the moon or Mars.

Dick looked up at Bruce as he was pulled away, thinking it had worked, but as he spoke his eyes got wide filling with tears before he was even over his lap,"But Daddy...",he whined his voice wavering slowly. "I.. I was just having some fun.. I'll listen next time..",Dick said hugging onto his not wanting to let go.

Bruce hated when Dick got this look on his face, he got that look or one similar every time he was in trouble. He really wanted to give in as he said he'd be good 'next time'... but he warned him. Dick knew what would happen if he didn't listen, and he still chose not too. He sighed, "Richard, I'm sure you will listen next time. But you knew what would happen if you didn't listen this time, and still didn't. This has to happen."

He pulled the little boy away one more time, but instead of looking in his eyes he brought him over his lap. Then his pants came down too, "What's this for, Richard?"

Dick glanced down as he was spoken to, he had realized all of that but he hoped his puppy face would work to save his butt, unfortunately it didn't seem like the case this time. "It really doesn't Daddy! Could just say it happened! Don't have to do it!",he tried but he had given up hope already.

He sniffled as he was laid over his lap, staring at his new view of the ground with a whimper,"I-Its for not listening... And lying...",he said, his voice wavering even more as he felt his pants go down.

Bruce frowned when Dick tried one last thing to get out of this. He shook his head, "That doesn't do anything for you, Dick. This is so I know you remember what happens when you don't listen and do as you're told," He explained to him. Then it was a time.

He waited for the boy to answer his question, his wavering voice getting to the man. But he had to do this. After a moment, he gave him the first smack.
