Hi! I saw this post about a Wreck it Ralph roleplay a few days ago and I thought it was a great idea. I didn't reply right away because I really wanted to know what happens in the movie before trying to roleplay something I have no context for. But, turns out, there isn't much needed to roleplay.
I loved that Fix-it-Felix and Calhoun adopt all the racers. They running amok all over their home was also funny. Then they all miraculously became angels by the end, though I wish they gave us some more scenes on how that happened.
I was thinking if we do roleplay this, we can start from where the movie left them in the beginning and end whenever we want, even past the end of the movie. Either way, I like to think that just because the Racers have their game back and their homes, they might have connected to their new parents somehow. Especially since now they don't have a leader, if Vanellope ever officially had to do things as their leader, they need more support then ever before. Maybe Felix and Calhoun can offer to continue being their parents, but they can stay in their own games and homes. They can have big family dinners and the racers can come to them when they need comfort/love. But, that also means if they get out of control or do something wrong, they will have to face the music and can not just try to get out it by saying you don't want parents anymore. That way, if we want to end this by the end of the movie plot, then we can roleplay this idea again in the future. Or we can just continue past the movie's ending with this idea and continue longer. Writing about different situations and trouble the racers get into once they lose their fear about getting spanked. I totally imagined that was the key to parents when that scene played out.
If you are still interested in this idea, I am more then happy to participate in this. I am not very experienced at playing the spanker. I prefer to be the spankee, but if you would like to play that role, then I can try to be the spanker, but I can not guarantee how good I will be. I can write long and short passages, so either one I can do. Hope to get a response from you soon!
