Eli froze for just a moment, a fork full of eggs stopping just before her mouth. She quickly recovered and took the bite. After swallowing she said, "no. I just could't sleep because..., well you know. I went right to bed just like you said too." She thought for a moment, "well I had a shower first, but then I went straight to bed." With that Catherine put a hand on each of Eli's shoulders and steered her towards the corner, before using a little pressure to put the younger girl on her knees. Eli looked at the corner with a little frown. That at least was something she was familiar with as she had found herself there a few times growing up. The girl slowly shuffled over to her guardian, she wasn't in any hurry, but still knew better than to dawdle to long.
