Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon Roleplay (Spanker/Switch Wanted)
Hello, all!
I've been looking back on my favorite games of the 2010s and remembered Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon. It made me laugh, cry (sad AND happy tears), and overall was a very memorable experience. What I also remember, however, are all the times my spanko brain imagined my characters pulled over someone's lap or punishing a naughty Pokémon, themselves. The player and their partner find and get into a whole heap of trouble over the course of their journeys—both in the main story, and out on quests in the Mystery Dungeons—and it's all ripe for a few red rumps along the way, I think.
I'm going to play as my characters, Wiles the Fenniken and Reepicheep the Pikachu, while any involved would play many of the other characters.
For example, in Serene Village alone, there are two father figures for Wiles and Reepicheep, a teacher, nurse, and a principal, and in Lively Town there are all the members of the Expedition Society as potential spankers. Maybe there's a fraternity-style initiation paddling to make it into the Society. Maybe our intrepid young duo stays out past dinnertime, or messes up Mawhile's research or Jirachi's equations.
On the flip, there are a lot of naughty Pokémon out there in the Mystery Dungeons—thieves and bullies and pranksters disturbing the peace. These encounters could go either way. Wiles and Reepicheep might want to spank someone for inviting them to their hideout but tricking them into entering a Monster House, but they could also be spanked by a stronger Pokémon they were sent to defeat who doesn't take kindly to a couple of kids trying to beat them up.
What I mainly want, though, is to tell a good, well-written story with someone who loves this game as much as I do. Grammar, detail, and a certain lyrical quality to your writing would be very much appreciated, as well.
Someone who's played the game already knows what Reepicheep is like, so I went spend much time on her.
Wiles is a former human sent to the Pokémon world, given the body of a Fennekin to inhabit. He's been stripped of his memory, but vaguely recalls being older than he is now, making him mature in some respects, but still with the physical mind and body of a child. This can also lead to some squabbles with adults who feel he acts or speaks out of line, as if he is of the same level of authority as they are. He has a tendency to daydream and isn't always the best communicator, but he is kind, and a hard worker to boot. Wiles is having trouble adapting to this new world, body, age, and culture, but with Reepicheep by his side, he can face anything this world throws at him.
