Bakugo baited his time and seized the opportunity. With a quick twist of his body, Bakugo aimed a ball of light at Midnight, "Stun Grenade!" The ball exploded into a blinding light. Because of how close Midnight was, the impact of the attack was more damaging.

It would've have been, if Midnight hadn't switched his Defense mode to Stealth mode to gain more speed and dodge the blast as well as disappear from sight.

Bakugo was now getting annoyed from this. Bakugo charged up another stun grenade, but this one was bigger. He let it loose to see if he could spot Midnight or at least blind him.

Midnight was on top of a building looking down below at Bakugou. He noticed his reaction speed was almost as fast as him and that despite being hot-headed, he's a sharp opponent. However, everyone has a struggle in a fight, he just has to make Bakugou drop his guard.

Bakugo grunted at not hearing anything from Midnight. "COME OUT YOU COWARD!" Bakugo shouted into the sky randomly. His guard was up and he wasn't using his quirk to waste the sweat building up in his palms.

"Well then let's try out something,"Midnight stood on the edge of the roof and held out his hands and changed from stealth to defense mode again to get control of energy. Now he was charging an attack in his palms.

Bakugo stayed in place and allowed his guard to lower. Tactically, he was doing this on purpose to hopefully trick Sonic into attacking.

Midnight was about to fire but instead of firing it directly at Bakugou. He fired it upward into the sky. He had a plan. Soon, he phased in right in front of Bakugou, who had let his guard down completely, and looked like he was about to uppercut him.

Bakugo was happy to see his plan had worked out. In retaliation, Bakugo blocked the uppercut with his right fist before setting off an explosion. It wasn't enough to cause permanent damage, but it had enough force in it to hopefully take out one of Midnight's fist to have Midnight be at a disadvantage.

That did work, Midnight couldn't deny that, nor did he see that coming. However, his hand that wasn't disabled, he jumped over Bakugou to get behind him before grabbing the back of his shirt and lifted him up in the air and flipped him backwards, slamming him onto his back hard before Midnight landed on the ground himself and looked at his hand.
