The Runaway Princess

Cameria was a peaceful kingdom.
A territory of many leagues, made up of towns and villages, which stretched from coast to coast. Peace, according to many, was maintained by their wise king by having banished all sorcerers from those lands.
Magic was forbidden, strictly forbidden.
It was hard enough to keep the gambling, the bandits and the pirates of the coast under control without having to worry about people trafficking with occult powers.
He had chased all the sorcerers across the sea in a great battle, and the few that remained were well hidden.

King Alder had fought great wars and accomplished great deeds against fearful enemies.
Yet, the hardest undertaking of all, he was facing it at that moment.
In Serina, the wealthy capital of the kingdom surrounded by three rows of white stone walls, he was suffering perhaps the first defeat of his life.

Although he had been in his forties for a while Alder was still a tall, strong man, towering over his daughter by several spans. Yet he could not break down that wall of obstinacy.
The princess was now of marriageable age, full of suitors who one after another were offended by her refusal to marry them.
When the last one had left, promising Alder that he would seek compensation for the outrage, it was the straw that broke the camel's back.

And now he was there, giving an ultimatum.
“I don't care what you want or don't want,” he says dryly, folding his arms.
“I've always let you do whatever you wanted, but that's enough now. Tomorrow you will write a letter to the last suitor where you humbly apologize for how you offended him and agree to marry him, if he still wants you”, he orders dryly.

Sarah was the only daughter of King Alder, she was now 24 years old. The woman had shiny blonde hair that looked like a golden waterfall, her eyes were clearer and bluer than any oceans, and her body was tight and curvy. She was raised to be a lady, she was intelligent, full of talents, but her only flaw was that she didn't like following rules. The girl wanted freedom, wanted to decide her own fate, and when this kind of personality collided with a father that would hope to marry his daughter to a prince, fight happened every time they spoke of the topic.

"I'm not doing that! This is my life, and I want to decide who and when I get married! When I say that guy is not good enough, he IS not good enough!" Sarah scowled back to her father.

Alder sighs, shaking his head.
“Well, since no one seems to be enough for you, I'll decide what's right for you. You are a princess, you have duties towards the people. ”, He says, hands on hips and a stern look.
“My advisors were right, I was spoiling you too much by giving you everything when you were a child. But it's never too late to turn things around. ”
Sarah will see him make a gesture she had never seen him do in her life. The man had begun to roll up his shirt sleeves.

"What are you doing?" Sarah frowned at the gesture her father was doing.
"I warn you, if you lay your hands on me, I will leave this freaking fort and never come back." She sounded stern and serious.
"If you care so much of your daughters marriage, guess what, you will no longer need to!" She threatened the man.

"Of course, you will leave this palace where you are served, revered and spoiled," replies Aldre, not at all worried about that threat.

He takes a step forward, grabs her by the arm and drags her to the bed, where he sits down, without making a move to leave her.

"Last chance, Sarah. I don't like the idea, but I'll do it if I have to."
