I am happy you enjoyed it! Yes, there will be a lot more in the coming updates, and I am hoping to include multiple consensual scenes with certain characters once you finish their sidequests.

I also love the crying audio, which is why I decided to keep it special - a rare treat, only used when the character getting spanked feels genuine, heartfelt remorse. In the current version it's used twice. Originally I wanted to include audio in every scene, but when I tested it it started feeling repetitive (I don't have a lot of material to work with) and it lost its magic. So I will keep it sparse - something to be pleasantly surprised about when it happens.

It took me so long to write something because I was too busy playing it but I LOVE this new update, and I LOVE Umma too!

What can I say that others didn't say? I can't wait for more consensual scenes, I love the flirting (even if I miss a consensual spanking scene with umma but I'm sure it's on the way), I love the annoyance mechanic, I love the interaction with the few npc (I'd love to interact with more along with Umma).

I like that there are two different "severities" to spank away the annoyance but I'd like to add a few suggestions:

- if the annoyance goes over 100 (yeah, I tried to get her attention, easy to do at the river) the number goes over the boundaries

 

- to prevent this and also getting a bit of reaction from Umma, the player could get a (public) spanking on the spot when Umma in annoyed enough, to lower the annoyance a bit.

- also, removing the annoyance 10 points/scene is a bit slow, maybe like the amulet we could choose between a mild spanking for now (so 10 points off) or "getting over it" and triggering a longer harsher scene which resets the points to 0 since the player is forgiven.

- maybe add some dialogue if it's not the first time getting these "annoyance" spankings, after a while Umma may like the routine and the player stops getting to embarassed. In other world, more variety in the comments, Umma is spanking non stop for mintues with all that annoyance points lol

- I'd love to see Umma "react" with more action than word when the players annoy her on some crucial scenes, like you did with the old man.
For example when the player was not polite to the captain.

- there is a lovely stump near the river, is a perfect spanking spot for Umma to remind us that the river isn't safe to cross. If you are going to put stumps and rocks, better use them!

So yeah, you see what I liked of the new update but it seems I've missed quite a few scenes, thank you for the handy list, checked it right now lol.

Can't wait for more fun and repeatable spankings too, and more interaction with the people in the area. Too bad we can't get Umma in the college ahahaah

Another suggestion, I'd love if along the fun spanking romance option with Umma we could get a spanking "on the spot" if we ask enough times, or with an option to react when she suggest to do it in private.

I don't know if other people have mentioned this, but after recieving a spanking at the College, the sprite for my character changed from the male version to the female version. The talking icon is still male, but the sprite and the face in the pause menu are both the female varients now.

- regarding Umma's annoyance: Currently I'm working on the "Ultimate Annoyance" spanking scene, once the player passes a certain level. But it won't be 100, my goodness, I never expected anyone to be quite so persistent!
I will try to add some variety to the annoyance spankings in the future. Just maybe not right away as I have so much planned for the next update.

- I am really happy you like Umma. I am thinking far ahead right now, of course, but when the player gets back to the college (to face Kaeli and all the others lol) Umma won't just vanish - quite the contrary. The genie will be restored to her/his full powers...

I noticed that if Umma's Romance is at 100 and you go downstairs, she has a bit of dialogue and then the game freezes when she tries to take you back upstairs.

Leigh has my sense of humor whereas Kaeli seems to have a sense of humor (just not as much as Leigh) but is more 'learned' which is something I admire and desire. By the way, I've also had the 'turn character picture to female instead of male ' bug. I didn't care I continued to play anyway. I know it's either one of the two spankings in the kitchen (I mean whether the cook spanks the MC or Leigh) or the one in the dormitory for annoying Ms Superspeed (movement magic) by looking in her punishment book that triggers it, but I can't remember which one.

Good news everyone! I have finally squashed the gender-swapping bug! At least I hope so. Download the new version and start a new game if you want to play through again, this time without reverting to the female sprite. In case it still happens for some reason, I have added a Gender Wand, which you will find in your room in the same drawer as the healing amulet. (In your room in the game, sadly not in your actual room in real life.) Use it at your own risk, and however you like - it should also work in case you want to swap back and forth, just like in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
As a little bonus, you can now talk a little with Kaeli, after you find the communication amulet. But only the "So..." option has anything in it. It's very much a work in progress.

I have no idea what this is, or how it can even happen, how did you get Umma's romance to 100??? Earlier I was working on a romance scene that was supposed to activate on its own, but it didn't work properly so I deactivated it. Maybe in the version you played it was still active? My apologies. There's a simple solution for now - don't try to seduce Umma SO MUCH

Thanks to you I finally found the bug! Phew. That was a difficult one. Thank you for the kind words, too! I am glad you like my characters As of now, if you want to play through again, you can see a little bit of dialogue with Kaeli (by activating the communication amulet again after the first time).
Also, you don't have to decide between Leigh and Kaeli - Leigh is super open-minded, and with Kaeli and Umma all questions regarding exclusivity or lack-thereof will be sorted out in the last part of the game.

ArtsyWeasel, so far the only way to trigger an interaction with Umma's annoyance is to try talking to her in the hotel, correct?

While it's cool that she brings the subject up unbidden, it is perhaps a little strange that the player can simply decline the punishment and she just rolls with it.

I can't help but think that Umma should either bring up the subject while travelling with the player, or that certain cutscenes have different dialogue and outcomes depending on how angry Umma is. Finally, when approached to join the party, Umma might just go ahead and punish without permission, or refuse to come along if there's still something for the player to atone for.

Also, at the moment, Umma has no way of knowing exactly why she's upset at the player, just that her annoyance level is a certain amount. It'd be cool if she kept a brief text line for at least one thing the player did that raised annoyance, so she could blurt it out during the punishment.

There maybe should be a way to decrease Umma's annoyance other than accept a spanking - there are some points in the game where she seems happy with the player (with some dialogue choices anyway) and it might make sense there if her anger was reduced.

Congrats on all the details in the game so far, excited about continuing this one.
