Hi there!

This is a (very) short little game about a prince who gets lost in the woods and stumbles into a mysterious cave...

There's not much to this, yet—though it has a beginning, middle, and end, so there's that! Right now, I think it plays more like an interactive story than a true game, but I wanted to get it out there in its current state to gauge interest and get some early feedback.


What is it?

The theme I'm working from is "puzzle-based dungeon crawl with spankings." It's built using RPG Maker MZ. You play as a young man. The spankings mostly take the form of magical or mechanical traps as you explore the dungeon, though in later versions, you might encounter some NPC's in there, as well.


Future plans

• Expand the dungeon. Add (a lot) more gameplay, in the form of puzzles, traps, and mini-games.
• Multiple endings. As I add more puzzles, it will become possible to escape the dungeon having taken a varying degree of "damage." I want to change up the ending depending on how badly hurt you are when you get back to camp (the current ending will probably become a bonus ending down the road).
• Custom sprites and music. Right now, I'm using the basic sprites and music you get with RPG Maker (though I did play a little bit with custom sprites and sounds). Down the road—and this is probably way down there—I would love to include my own custom sprites, music, and character art. Gonna focus on gameplay for a while first, though.
• Gender selection. This one's a hard "maybe." I like X/M, and especially M/M (which seems to get little love in the games I've seen), so I'm likely to keep it this way, at least for the time being.

Cute little game, needs more content but still it's a first try so good on you. One thing to note is that the files were hidden after I unizpped them which was weird.

Ah, I put a shortcut to the executable at the top level and hid the rest of the files, but maybe that wasn't super clear. Would a readme help? Or I can upload it again with the more familiar structure.

Did you have to actually unhide the files to play, or were you able to just click the shortcut?

Unfortunately the shortcut doesn't work.
The path is incorrect.

I don't know how to chance that and I don't know how to unhide the hidden files...
So I'm stuck.

Love it!!!!!!!!!! Obviously just a start and not really a 'game' yet, but it is fun and I love x/m, especially m/m, so I am very excited about the game!

For those having trouble, I think sometimes 'hidden' files are visible if you tell your computer to show them, so you may be able to see the Game if you change your folder settings.

I can’t play it right now - but mechanical/trap spankings are something I absolutely love, ever since the mage tower game on here - so I’ll definitely try this later.

So I had to unhide the files to play it, but even then the shortcut doesn't work.

That said so far this is very good, obviously this is very short but I like it so far.

Also the shortcut is pointing to your OD, so it won't work that way, you'll need to use a bat file to call the game.exe or unhide the files.

The shortcut doesn't work and I always have hidden files showing so I just launched from the executable in the game folder.

Definitely light on content, but I would be very excited to see future releases. I already like where this is going.
