Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

Why cant i customize my account?
So ive been trying to customize my profile for some time now and it says i cant and id like some help on why i cant.

Your user group should have everything in your profile as customizable except “Edit Background Images”. Are you getting an error?

i'm having the same problem i can not get into my edit options page it keeps saying this "Forgefather381, you do not have permission to access this page" i am new to the site but i know i did my username and password right can someone help me with this

Same here. I think its because you need to post a certain amount? Since we're both labeled as "Probationary Users", I can only assume it has to do with post count and credibility with being active?

there are limitations to probationary accounts, while we hat to impose limits they are temporary but necessary in as in the past bots had taken advantage to spam links in both the forums and PMs, to combat it temporary PM limits were imposed and links are flagged for moderation to make sure they arent malicious.

ok i understand that why this was done believe me i know the pain of dealing with malicious links and other unsavory things like it i would do the same another thing you mentioned the limits being temporary are the limits going to gone in the future
