Winter quickly texted her father that she was out hanging with a friend and she'll be back before it gets too late out. She hums as she get's into her friends car, her friend is a college student at a nearby university, she befriended her when they were both in elementary school and kept in touch despite being 5 years apart.

I'm not ready to have that type of relationship with you yet and you as the adult should respect it. The more you try the more I'll push you away." Snow says finally sick of what Terry's been doing. "You may legally be my father at the moment but that doesn't mean you are my dad, not yet at least. You have to give me time. You have to respect my wishes. I'm a teenager and I don't trust easily. It could take years for me to be ready heck I might not ever be ready and as my guardian you have to be prepared and accept that as reality. You may have accepted me but I don't accept you. I get the final say so on whether you'll be my family not you." Snow finishes glaring at Terry.
