I found a cool site that lets me make an OC and input information about that OC. Like the OC's general bio and associated kinks/preferences/etc. Would it be alright if I used a hyperlink to my profile/my character's page in recruitment threads for people to look at?

Don't see why not - it shouldn't be a problem.
Without knowing what site I can't be 100% but I'm not aware of any reason against it. There's no blocks on hyperlinks going out from our site: sometimes our spamfilter will replace some URLs with *** from a preset blocklist we have which is mostly aggressive spam sites we've built up over the years.

The only reason why not to do it would be that people aren't likely to click it and it'd be easier if you were to post screenshots in your OP for quick reference as well as the link.

You can attach screenshots to posts and link them in the post. You have to use 'post reply' rather than quick reply to get the option but it works well and would make a good fallback alongside the link in the post.

It's pretty cool...although still trying to find a name for my OC. XDDD The way the site works is each name can only be used one time. It's a nightmare trying to find a name that is still available.
