Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:

Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

Default How to delete a thread?

It appears thread starter can't delete their own thread even when there are no replies in it, nor can a starter edit the title to let people know it's cancelled. (The edited title won't show up on the threads list page, only inside the thread.) This is an annoying problem in the Roleplay Recreuitment section.

Where to post to get a thread deleted?

Members can delete their own threads, but not in your usergroup. You're still in the one-from-bottom usergroup so that option isn't enabled for you.

Contribute to the site (posts, comments etc) and you'll have those options enabled as you move up automatically.

You can report threads you want deleted but I wouldn't bother. We're not fussed about old threads and if nobody replied and it's already scrolled down the page it doesn't matter. It's unlikely anyones going to respond to a months old thread with no replies anyway.

Is there a thread or another spot here with info on the User groups? I could not find any with the Search tool.

There is an info thread with a mostly up to date here, it's stickied in the general forum.

It doesn't go into detail beyond what the colours let you do as that's not public.

Extra perks, abilities and options are our reward for users that participate, not a punishment for those that don't. We're not trying to blackmail anyone by giving them a set of goals to achieve in order to enjoy more than the most basic functions of the site.

Thanks for the link.

I never said you were. I actually think that's a nice system but I personally wouldn't have included the ability to delete one's own empty threads and own posts into it. Because I consider that ability one of the very basic functions of forum usage. Equal to being able to fully edit one's own posts. Especially on forum section where the threads aren't meant to be open forever but just temporary recruitment ads. But that's just me personally, so I'm not saying you're right or wrong, simply offering another point of view.

And again, I do think a rewards system is nice and I do understand its purpose.
