So, how about this: a guy is shrunk down in size until he can be picked up in one hand, preferably with only a few fingers. And he’s stretchy and pliable, so he can’t be hurt no matter what happens to him beyond a bright shade of red, or in extreme cases, blisters or mild bruising. I mean, think of all the possibilities:
He could have been sentenced to this by a court of law, or maybe he was already that size and a previous partner/enemy finds him, or maybe he pissed off a wizard or sorceress, who proceeded to give him to their fucked-up kid. Then again, he might not be being held captive at all.
