Witch’s apprentice
Thinking I’d play a witch who would come to a village one day just to collect a few groceries. They’d then come across a child (preferably aged 10-14) who was running from another magic user after having taken one of their spell books. The witch would offer to take care of the child, and once the magic user had walked off, they’d ask why the child had taken the books, figuring out they’d want to learn magic. We’d then continue from there
