There are different reasons why I want to avoid corporal punishment. Firstly, I think it's just not effective in changing people's behavior or teaching them anything meaningful. In general, I think it just leads to bad outcomes. Secondly, I think corporal punishment can lead to abuse and psychological distress and trauma. I think it's just better to avoid it altogether. What do you think about corporal punishment?

I love it! So we will send each student down the "pipeline", they will be secured to the "moving walk", and then they will receive punishment as they are carried through the "pipeline". We might even make it a big spectacle! All the other students will watch this play out, adding even more public humiliation. Once our students go through this "pipeline", do you think they will think twice before they misbehave again?

Too bizarre for me. And she sounds too reasonable in the first paragraph for me to enjoy the fantasy. No offense, but this is so popular it really seems like a bad trend. But feel free to enjoy it.
