Trouble in Kings Landing
It was another hot day in the capitol of Westeros, the great city of Kings Landing, early in the days of the reign of young king Joffrey. In the Red Keep, many mighty knights were sweating in their armor as they tested their skill against one another for the entertainment of their juvenile lord. One of them was Sir Lorent Algood, who came from a respectabel house in the Westerlands, but had always felt more comfortable down there with the poorer knights and the smallfolk, sweating and preparing himself for his first real battle. At 29 years old he was still mostly untested. But it seemed they would all too soon experience real war with the strife raging beyond the city walls and thus he focused on training even harder. Lorent growled as he blocked another heavy strike with a mace, fired at him from a well armored brute from the kingslands. Meanwhile Joffrey looked on bemused. "Look mother, how your Westerlander is struggling against my man!", he snarled, he had even bet a few gold coins on the triumph of the local knight. But Lorent didn´t give in too easily. He blocked and blocked again with his mighty shield, moving with the flow of the strikes, so they were less hard on the Ironwood item and slowly draining the energy from enemy. Then he counterattack with a hearty laugh, himself scoring multiple hard hits with his bastard sword and slowly gaining ground on the sand of the small arena. Meanwhile the spectators roared. They sure were entertained.
(By the way, can you give your character another motivation, other than her wanting to become a knight? It has been done before...she can still daydream about being a knight, I just don´t think its likely if she´s been groomed to be a lady all her life.)
