In an Apartment complex a young man who had just turned 18 and had the chance to graduate from High school would have to make a choice in what he would want to do with the rest of his life. He can be part of the Civilians of the world and live as normal of a life as he could and most would figure thats the path he would go seeing as he was labeled as Quirkless. In a Family of three his sister and mother both devolped quirks but as of right he he never did developed anything.

It as a normal day his mother already brought him papers he would need to fill out for what collage he would try for. He was bright and well traded up but without a quirk it would be harder for him to enter any of the hero courses. Though his mother would give him papers for the hero course just in case he wanted to try his luck.

There would be a knock on his door, "Hey don't lock yourself in your room all the time watching porn, Mom may said i'm not allowed to read your thoughts but what does not not know will not hurt her". His sister would tease him she had the ability to read peoples minds, The longer she spends around the person shes trying to read the clearer the thought were.

Takeo would be laying on his bed as he looked at the paperwork he had in front of him, it was the career path futures paperwork that the school's counselor gave out to all students in every class to help ease them towards their next goal in life before graduation. It was more of a suggestion but many people treated them as their future when it came to matters. Laying there he'd look up to the ceiling when his sister started calling through.

He'd had been watching porn, well not fully wrong he had been looking at some of the more... interesting female heroines who were doing interviews while taking notes both on them and their bodies. "Yeah but it will hurt you." He warned her, whenever his sister did this he always went with mutual assured destruction. Instead she'd be able to see and get his thoughts about a bit of an incestous encounter between them with her going full heart eyed begging for her big brother's big member. They both hated when he did it, but it was a good punishment for whenever she red his mind.

He would feel that she was rolling her eyes from behind the door, "Well get up and get going before mom yells at us both for being late for dinner, did you decide what your going to do with collage? I myself am planning on going to U.A but most like either General studies or see about getting into the supports class". His sister was not much of a fighter and her quirk would not help with fighting crime though they both had talked about it before she would be quite useless gathering intel up close since she had feel peoples thought though building and walls. Often causing her massive headaches.

As if on queue though both would get a yelling in their minds from their mother, "Both of you downstairs now, You know i don't like it if you miss our on dinner". Their mother Quirk let her transmute her voice into the minds of others. Right now she was a sidekick for Endeaver's Agency and was mainly used as a Means of comminutions while out in the field. As her quirk would not be effected by shortages and batteries she makes the perfect Radio between Pro heros and sidekicks alike.

"Not yet no, though you'd probably be a great support here. With your mind reading and someone like Mandalay from the Pussycats you could read minds of villains and she can relay that information. You'd be good for helping others excel sis." He told her through the door as he got up off the bed. "Or someone like mom." He mused as if on queue.

Getting up and off the bed he'd lower his laptop lid and start heading down for dinner. "Sorry for the delay, just doing some work..." He told his mother and sat down at the table.

His mother and sister both had scarlet red hair while Takeo would take more after his father. Though sadly he had lost his life early into both the siblings childhood. Though their mother did what she good to provide a good life for the two of them. "Its all good I just don't want the food to get cold, and with you heading off to college soon there will be less and less time for us to have family time together so have to get what I can."

The three had a strong realtionship often teasing each other well him and his sister did at least. She would sit on down her thick backside tucked into her cotton shorts as she smiled. "Don't worry bro even without a quirk there still plenty of jobs you can do, heck if I recall even Endeaver has some on-call personal that are quirkless". Unlike some people at his high school she never teased or looked down on him for not having a quirk but always stood by him.

"I know, but I'd rather try and find a way to make my way on my own. People like me already are behind the eight ball. The last thing I'd want was to cause you more problems by the quirkless son being given a pity job and looked down on by mom's peers." He explained to his mother, knowing that his sister had meant well but at the same time he was going to have to no doubt make this fight on his own.

"I still gotta figure out what I can do now with myself." He had taken care of himself, and despite what his sister thought he always worked to take care of his body and worked hard. He always felt he needed to be better physically, since he lacked a quirk that he needed to excel in things, academics and in physical prowess just to stand out from his quirked peers.

As his mother would kept the table ready and all the food placed out in front of them his sister would chime in, " you hear about the girl that a couple floors below us? Shes quirkless as well but rumor has it shes going to try for the hero course still, I feel a bit sorry for her not sure she can past the test without a quirk but if shes willing to do it than maybe you can as well?" she did tease him often about watching to much porn or those heroines often but she did know he kept himself in fit shape meaning he could spar with the best of the non physically enhance quirk users.

Owen nodded and looked at his sister. "I suppose it can't hurt to try, and even if it does they have people with healing quirks to manage it." He admitted as he drank some water at the table. "Is it okay if i go for a run after dinner mom?" He asked curiously as he did have respect for his mother but he also was determined to keep up, as a result he was at the top of his class. Had he quirk he might have even gotten in by recommendations for his academic and athletic ability.

As the table was set and food placed in front she would nod her head, "of course but just know its getting a bit late and their has been troublesome noises of late with Villain's around so just be careful, I know you do anyways".

Even if he was not she had a support item placed on both him and his sister so no matter where they were as long as they kept the device on she can speak to them. Granted they can't speak back but the Item did have buttons to alert if there was danger and such so she can contact a pro as well.

This would get Yumi thinking about with what he said, "That is true there always heros that aren't very good with the brunt of hero work getting into hero courses so with your strength and smarts you should be fine, Maybe not 1A but there are three hero courses this year from what i heard so there always a shot at the other two?"

"I always do my best to avoid situations. Besides there are plenty of heroes around anyway so it's not like I'm getting into a rough situation. Even when Villains have been within a few blocks there was usually a hero closer." he stated reassuringly.

"At best I'd be probably a support class, heroes require something as a quirk there..." He admitted as he thought it through. "But I said if I took a shot at the hero course my desire was to get in, but even if I didn't I intend to make those who make the decisions lose sleep over not accepting me as a hero." He told his mother with a grin, his own revenge. That's how he chose to spite those with quirks in his own way, if he was always going to be seen as beneath a quirk user he was going to make sure that every decision to pass over him for being quirkless was going to be a harder and harder pill to swallow.
