For the past months I've been slowly bouncing from engine to engine; experimenting and learning all I can and figuring out what works best for me. (Testing different art and animation methods too.)

I actually took most of my inspiration to implement spanking into combat from tickling fetish games mostly (and battlesex/"combat eroticism" has long been a thing anyway). I thought of several ways to do it but the best ideas would be a bit much considering the time and effort involved so I have to dial back my ambitions for the time being. So my first fetish game or two will be much simpler but that could change if I'm not satisfied enough with the end result.

So I have various ways I could add spanking into battles but I'm curious to see if anyone else here is interested in that sort of thing and could hear some ideas that I might not have thought of. Maybe I might even inspire somebody else to try their hand at it.

IDEAL system:

Willpower and Dominance/Submission
Sadism/Masochism as buffs (increasing your attack and defense respectively)
Grapples and bondage (bondage greatly lowers your defense and attack and increases submission)
Progressive stripping (which would lower your defense and increase your submission)
Hypnosis with certain special enemies (forcing you to obey orders and submit to enemies)
Animated spanking during battle (static in event scenes most likely)

QSP and RPGM are the engines I've decided to stick with for these particular games.

CATC and NF3D (Naked Fighter 3D) did some interesting ideas with battle/combat spanking.
They didnt have those type of systems you stated above, but they added spanking as a move you could do.

Noir Castle's games, especially the "Devil Sword" one is probably the biggest inspiration individually that made me think "if only this was for spanking instead of tickling".

Don't get me wrong, my games won't be anything like theirs, but they definitely got me thinking and coming up with ideas.

(There's also Ahriman's games as well which all have spanking in them but concentrate mostly on bondage and sex.)

This is technically in DOAS 1 (great spanking game btw) but there’s only one enemy and fighting them generally isn’t even necessary like ever. It’s a nice scene though, unfortunately not a ton of variation

This is a system I want to see in more games and would also love to hear any more people know of.

What is CATC, btw? I’ve heard of naked fighter but not that one

its kinda hard to describe CATC but its made by Enlit3D, its Corrupted at the Core.
There is a few different versions he's done but one of them is turned based, has weapons and such you use in combat, but theres also lewd things you can do to the enemies, and stuff that can be done to you. Including sexual stuff and of course spanking. One of the versions uses turned based combat, but the moves you can do has Cards you pick from.
He may have moved on from CATC as he changed it to a rogue like way later on and it wasnt received very well.

If youve ever played Heroine Rescue Team which i think was posted on here a long time ago, its made by the same person who made CATC. Basically same character design and what not.

Okay... finally posting here again as I've been greatly concentrated on work for the past six months due to several big changes that happened there. I think I'm finally able to get started on getting an alpha demo out sometime later this year hopefully.

On that note:

I'm wanting something like actual consequences to getting spanked too much. Like with Bagool's games where your character will tap out of a spanking early if their "pain" gets maxed out. I'm not sure what way to do it however beyond just making your character surrender in a fight but I feels there's a better way to have a feature like that. Admittedly it might just end up as a "game over" thing depending on the situation in-game.

I also came across another newbie dev a while back who had played several games with content they enjoyed but wanted something more and so they ended up deciding to do it themselves, just like I'm attempting to. The game they are working on definitely still needs some tweaks and polish but it's pretty damn good so far. It gives me hope and encouragement that I can potentially manage the same.

Personally id avoid doing just a game over screen. IMO that just kills the vibe of the game for me, and probably many others. I think the tapping out due to pain is a better alternative
