Intro:

Many of you have played Pokémon Spanko Version. Well after a long development period, I now present Pokémon Ultra Spanko Version. A lot of additions and improvements have been made. Not only were the vast majority of external map spaces in Johto completely redone, but the region of Kanto has been added as well. There are now an additional 100 pokémon, bringing the total to 500 pokémon to collect.

Even if you've played the old version of the game, due to the magnitude of the changes, starting a new save file will be necessary.

Being a spanko game, there are of course spanking scenes. I have added options for gender, gender preference, and spanko orientation. You can choose to be male or female, choose whether your rival is Gary or Nemona, choose whether you're a top, bottom, or switch, and even choose which genders you prefer to spank and/or be spanked by. So if you want a female character, whose rival is Nemona, who is spanked by men, and who gives spankings to women, then the game will accommodate those preferences.

For the most part, gender preferences don't lock you out of content. For example, since you can spank gym leaders, each gym has a default leader as well as an alternate. So take the gym in Cerulean City for example. The default leader is Misty. But if your character is someone who only wants to spank male characters, then the gym leader that will appear in game for you is the alternate Wallace. However, if you lose the gym battle and are punished with a spanking, then that will ALSO align with your preferences. So if you only want to be spanked by women, then your spanker will be Misty.

There are two scenes I believe where the concept of "revenge spanking" comes into play, so if your preferred gender to spank is different than your preferred gender to be spanked by, or if you're pure top or pure bottom, then there may be a very small number of scenes that you miss out on due to that. Additionally, if your rival is a gender you don't wish to spank or be spanked by, there is potential to miss out there as well.

List of all Pokémon in the game:
https://pastebin.com/vzu0BW2e

Features of this game include:
  • 500 pokémon to collect, including regional variants from Alola, Galar, Paldea, and Hisui.
  • Time skipping option available when healing at Pokemon Centers, so you can more easily catch time-specific pokémon.
  • Eighteen gyms, one for each type.
  • Ability to rematch gym leaders after becoming Champion.
  • A new post-game questline in which you get to join Team Rocket.
  • Pokémon include representation from fossil pokémon, Paradox pokémon, and Ultra Beasts.
  • Mega Evolution for two pokémon (Mewtwo and Rayquaza)
  • Gimmighoul coins as well as an NPC who can transform your Gimmighoul from Chest to Roaming forms and vice-versa.
  • Evolution Lab in Pewter City that can help you evolve what would otherwise be trade-only evolutions.
  • Alternate evolution methods for other trade-only evolutions.
  • Key items in place of the HM moves Surf, Fly, Waterfall, Rock Smash, and Flash.
  • Reusable TMs
  • EV training items, including the Fresh-Start Mochi that will let you reset EVs to 0.
  • Hyper Trainer NPC who can improve your pokémon's IVs.
  • A pokémon summary screen that will actually display your pokémon's EVs and IVs.
  • New Incubator item to make hatching eggs very fast as well as prenatal vitamin items to boost the IVs of the pokemon that will hatch from the egg.
  • NPC who can help Milcery evolve into an Alcremie form of your choosing as well as change the flavor of Alcremie you have.
  • Two Safari Zones as well as the Bug-Catching Contest.
  • A Battle Tower in which you can compete in tournaments to earn BP.
  • Mystery Gift functionality unlocked through Battle Tower.
  • In-battle menus that show all temporary stat changes.
  • A special version of Pikachu: "Pikachu Libre" (found in Mt. Mortar) that knows the special moves from Let's Go Pikachu.
  • Eevee trainer that can teach Eevee and its evolutions the special moves from Let's Go Eevee.
  • 10% of wild Rockruff will be the Own Tempo version (with in-battle notification telling you this) so you can more easily get the Dusk Form Lycanroc.
  • A "Hidden Village" with an exclusive species as well as the key to obtaining Bloodmoon Ursaluna.
  • Ability to fly directly from the Town Map once flight is unlocked in Azalea Town.
  • Scouter item unlocked in Pallet Town that will make special evolution-friendly pokémon appear on the overworld on various routes. These pokémon often know moves they cannot learn normally through leveling up, and conditions to easily evolve these pokémon are typically already met.
  • New encounter method: shaking trees. This works similarly to using Headbutt in early official games but without the need to learn any special moves.
  • Critical capture modifiers based on how many pokémon species you have registered already. Stacks with the Catching Charm.
  • NPC in Pewter City who can resurrect a roaming pokémon if you accidentally defeat it.
  • A small handful of repeatable spankings that can be done regardless of your chosen gender and orientation options chosen at the beginning of the game.
  • NPC in Cherrygrove City who will let you change your gender, rival, and orientation options whenever you want, although this could theoretically break continuity with some scenes.
  • Berries purchasable in PokeMarts. Available inventory will expand as you collect more badges up to 8 badges.
  • Special berry that increases beauty (for evolving Feebas), and a berry that increases happiness.
  • A crime system where committing certain illegal acts results in you getting citations. Bottom/switch characters have the option of a corporal punishment option in lieu of paying a fine.
  • Nidoran male and female evolutionary families have been combined into the same species with different forms for gender, similar to Meowstic.
  • Eight legendary/mythical pokémon: Suicune, Marshadow, Pecharunt, Victini, Genesect, Rayquaza, Mewtwo, Mew
  • Cheat menu that can be accessed from your PC, but don't complain if using cheats ruins the fun.
  • Game wiki that can be found at: https://stickthatbuttout.github.io/p...iki/dist/site/

PC Controls:
X: Hold to run (once running shoes are obtained)
D: Use quick select item menu
Shift: Open menu
Enter: Confirm
Escape: Cancel
Z: Mega Evolve during battle
M: View move information during battle
N: View battler information during battle

How to run:
I use 7-Zip to compress. You could probably use other programs like WinRAR to extract, but if you want to be absolutely sure, I recommend using 7-Zip as well to extract the game folder.
Run the Game.exe from within its folder. Do not move Game.exe out of its folder or it won't work. Modifying or deleting other files or folders in here is likely to cause issues with the game.

Fighting: Brawly/Korrina
Steel: Jasmine/Steven
Ice: Candice/Grusha

Poison: Janine/Atticus
Psychic: Sabrina/Bede
Fire: Flint/Flannery

FAQs:

Q: Are all spanking scenes illustrated?
A: Most are. There are a few that are not yet, but hopefully that will change.

Q: Are spanking scenes balanced for top and bottom scenes?
A: Somewhat, but I found bottom scenes easier to write so there may be more scenes. If you want the fullest experience with the most spanking scene opportunities, being a switch is the way to go.

Q: Are the characters involved in spanking scenes age appropriate?
A: Yes, all such characters are aged up in this game.

Q: Do any spanking scenes involve pokémon?
A: Yes, but ONLY on the giving end. I will absolutely not include any scenes in which you spank a pokémon. It feels too much like animal cruelty. I know that's kind of the whole point of Pokémon, but it's still a line I won't cross.

Q: Is there any sexual content?
A: There is one scene with heavily implied sex happening off screen, but that's it. This is intentionally more "innocent" than my other games.

Q: Why do some of the illustrations not match the narrative?
A: Most of the art is AI-generated, which is very difficult to get right.

Q: Why are some of the scene descriptions so long and detailed while others are more concise?
A: I had help with writing from some talented people, but not every scene has gotten that magic touch just yet.

Q: I found a bug that interferes with a scene or some functionality. What do I do?
A: Report it to me.

Q: I found a purely cosmetic bug like the wrong music playing during a certain scene or a sprite being the wrong size or whatever. Should I report those too?
A: No. Those type of things are VERY low on my priorities. I almost certainly know about it already and just haven't gotten around to fixing it yet.

Q: What future enhancements will be made?
A: Probably mostly related to Battle Tower. I want to add more trainer teams so there is a wider pool to battle. I may also add more trainer NPCs to some of the more sparsely populated routes. I also want to enhance dialogue for some scenes.

Q: Why did you use AI art?
A: I don't have the means to create non-AI art for this. There are too many scenes to commission for a price. But if you're a talented human artist who would like to illustrate some scenes and can do so in the pokemon anime style, I would love to have your help.

Q: How can I help improve this game?
A: Well in addition to artists and dialogue writing, I think we can also benefit from foreign language translators. However, the BIGGEST thing I need for this is a talented web developer who can help overhaul the wiki. The problem is that it's hosted on Github Pages, which means I had to use static HTML. I was able to use some tricks to create a lot of the repetitive content like the navbar, but this makes future changes a huge hassle. If anyone wants to host this wiki elsewhere and can make the repeating HTML more maintanable, please let me know. A wiki really is necessary for this type of game.

Q: Will you be adding more regions to this game in the future?
A: Probably not. Not only has this taken YEARS of work, but two regions is really just about all that's realistic from a game balancing perspective for reasons that I don't feel like going into here.

Q: Why is this game so hard? Or why is this game so easy?
A: The balance I went for is something harder than the official games but easier than some of the popular ROM hacks out there. Different people will have different ideas on what their ideal balance is. And given that this is pokémon, they like to screech about it. I dedicated YEARS to this project with countless hours spent meticulously balancing things, but it's not possible to make everyone happy, and I don't care to try.

Q: I helped you with some aspect of the game, but I didn't see my name in the credits?
A: I tried to get everyone but it's possible I may have missed some people, especially if I worked with you early on. Just let me know and I'll make sure you get included.

Q: Why are some of the movesets for some pokemon wrong?
A: The earliest work on this project actually started prior to the release of Sword and Shield. What this means is that the first movesets I had in here were from Gen 7. I made updates as new generations were made, but it's likely that some pokemon species still retain the movesets from Generation 7 or 8. Also, definitely don't trust the wiki when it comes to movesets. That's information pulled from Bulbapedia, not from this game.

Q: If the movesets on the wiki can't be trusted, then which parts of the wiki are accurate?
A: The pokemon locations, trainer team compositions, TM locations, and spanking scene list are all accurate.

Q: I defeated Clair (or Lance) so why wasn't I able to spank her?
A: This gym works a little differently. The leader you defeat is so indignant that they spank YOU instead (you still get to spank them upon rematch). If you didn't get any spanking scene at all after winning the first time, it just means that the gender or the leader you defeated isn't a gender you chose to be spanked by.

Q: Where's this Hidden Village you mentioned?
A: If you're familiar with Kanto, there's a certain place that used to inspire a lot of speculation back in the day that there must be something hidden there. If you get the feeling that there just HAS to be a village nearby, there's a good chance that your suspicion is right. Look around for a way to get there.

Q: Does this support Joy2Play?
A: I know that some people have gotten it to work on Joy2Play but it's not something I have tested at all. I developed this game with the assumption that it will be played on PC. If it also works with Joy2Play, then that's great. But supporting it isn't a priority at all for me. Keep in mind that although this was developed with RPG Maker XP, there is a lot of extra functionality built in that isn't supported by the RPG Maker XP engine, and I therefore can't guarantee it will work on other platforms than what it's designed for.

Q: Why isn't my favorite pokémon in this game but this stupid one is?
A: The decision on which pokemon to include or not include took very careful consideration, and these decisions weren't made lightly. A variety of factors were included, such as game balance, variety, fan favorites, etc. If a pokemon that not many people like is in here, it's probably for a specific reason. Perhaps it has a unique game mechanic or perhaps its the only 3 stage evolution family of its type. There could be many reasons, but you should rest assured that there is indeed a reason and that reason has been carefully considered.

Q: Why not just include all 1,025 pokémon then?
A: Two reasons. The most important is game balance and pacing. This isn't a 3D game with overworld encounters like in Gen 9. This is old school pokemon style. Unless you're OK with 50+ species on your first route alone, this simply isn't practical. And if you think you're OK with it... well you probably won't be if you were to play something like that. The second reason is that it's a lot more work for me. For example, the game mechanic for double battles with Tatsugiri and Dondozo would require me to program the very unique way that the Commander ability works. And as interesting as that is, the tradeoff in terms of the amount of work it would take makes it not worth it. Adding all 1,025 pokemon also means adding all those quirky and unique abilities and signature moves.

Q: Will there be another major expansion or sequel made?
A: At some point in the future, a sequel may be doable, but it will likely be after the release of Generation 10 or 11 or possibly later. A game like this takes a LONG time to make because I working at my PC in my spare time after work can never hope to match the output of a studio like Game Freak. As for expansions to this game in the form of new regions, that's very unlikely for game balancing reasons.

This is impressive! I especially love how much effort you put into accommodating different preferences and playstyles. I'm gonna check this out.

What's the difficulty of the game like? Is it as easy as classic Pokemon? I suppose I could try playing it using a variant of the Nuzlocke challenge to make it harder, maybe keep Pokemon even if they faint, but stick to the "first and only first Pokemon in each area may be caught." and maybe use the Equal Fight Clause.

I don't want necessarily want to purposefully lose, but I do want my character to be in extreme danger of losing.

Edit: My bad, I see in the FAQ's that it's harder than standard Pokemon. Alright, so I'll try without any special challenges at first, and add restrictions if I'm finding it too easy anyway.

(For the curious, Nuzlocke: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/w...ge#Basic_rules).

I will say that maybe the first half of Johto is pretty easy to give players time to assemble a decent party. Kanto is where the difficulty really starts to ramp up because it's here that gym leaders begin to use specialized EV training.

i'm not sure if this is an issue or if i just can't figure out what to do, but after loosing the gym leader battle in the violet city gym, and getting punished, my character is now stuck outside the gym floor. I unfortunately haven't saved, so i think i'll need to start over :/

Attachment 659
Fixed now in the latest version. The issue was that I had remodeled 4 of the gyms at some point but the teleport events from the punishment room were still pointing towards the old locations.

i'm glad it's fixed for folks! i restarted my game, but im already back where i was before so all is well. tbh i would not have been stuck if i was better about saving, so i'm being more careful with saving now too so i shouldn't have to deal with restarting in the future lol

I still recommend upgrading to v1.01 since the issue you found actually affects FOUR gyms in the game.

Just added new spanking art for Nemona in v1.02
