Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

Why is animeotk agreeing to host handprints? Some of the content on that site is borderline illegal and the vibe of the site really crosses a line, such that you would have to expect this kind of thing.

@Everyone
I'll have some donation methods up soon. I also need to call and have a talk with the law team again at our hoster.
@Aug16 - I'll let everyone know, but from the user perspective, it won't change anything. We'll keep the domain and everything.
@DavidBreclav - Ai is actually the one who originally offered to host handprints, but I've been an accquaintance of the site owner for over 25 years. I'd actually tried to host him many decades ago, but my servers at the time couldn't handle it. Handprints is an old staple of the animated spanking community. He was one of the first and best sites around when the internet was brand new (I'm talking YEARS before Google even EXISTED), and I believe strongly in preservation of everything on the internet. That being said, if there is any content on his site that break our server rules, I would like to know so I can look into it. Unfortunately, our hosting provider never provided us with specific images, just blanket "take down these sites" for both boyzbeingboyz (which I was forced taken down [publically]) and handprints (which I will not take down).

From what I understood, there is an artist called lee warner who is banned on animeotk, but is present on handprints, who makes art that appears to unsuspecting viewers to be drawings, but which actually used some kind of tracing of photographs such that they are classified as illegal in most countries. Not cool to link people to that in my opinion. There are also photographs of children all over the site from innocent contexts but being talked about in the context of a spanking fetish and it's all just super sus and over the line, in my opinion.

I might be a bit late to suggest this but Ko-fi does offer tip-jar as well as monthly subscription services. Identifying as NSFW only puts up a pop-up that warns you must be 18 or older to proceed.
I don't know much about it other than that, but I notice a lot of adult-oriented game developers use it. Also there's a lesser known site out there called boosty. I don't subscribe to anything on it myself, but it doesn't seem to have an issue with NSFW item either.
