i saw am anime a while back called " Now and Then Here and There", with an evil monarch who had a dimensional transport kidnapping kids and enslving them into an army/ There was one alien girl with a pendant, that was very powerful, her name was LaLa Ru, very cute, I only saw a few episodes, has anyone seen the whole thing?, I do recall some whippings and some nice panty shots.

l saw it from start to end, was a very tear jerking anime when you put it in perspective, in fact if anyone argues anime is for kids on this series l will have to hit them because this series contained some things that only ppl of reasonable age can understand when pertaining to some of the issues such as one of the characters having to deal with the aftermath of being raped and choosing to bring those children up and having the strength to not kill herself tbh tho that was the one major part that really caught me because it peeved me off but at the same time got me more into the storyline wondering how she would deal with it

I tried the 2 first chapters. But even liking sadism and violence in anime I was kind of shocked with it. It treats abuse and war towards children in a way that seems realistic. Its an interesting anime, but you have to watch it as serious business.
I prefer light-hearted themes.

Sounds like an interesting anime. Definately something a sociologist would look at.
