Rabbit had everything properly prepared to present what he thought would be the perfect birthday present. All of his old favorite toys (a hand sized round wooden paddle, a ruler, a junior sized cane, a makeshift strap) were out, as well as a few new ones. There was a tawse for one thing (and it scared him even!), a full sized two-hand paddle, a paddle that was meant for one hand but pretty long so as to catch both cheeks. He'd even gotten out the wooden spoon and a belt for good measure.

There were other things, too- a pretty notebook with a gorgeous pen, for one thing. Those were in a box. There were also three pillows for propping and for later sitting (In his best friend's favorite color!) and a basket of skin care products including scented lotion, baby oil, and a small soft washcloth. Because he figured they'd come in handy.

All he had to do was wait for her to show up. And so, while he waited, Rabbit would content himself with working on decorating the mini-ice cream cake.

Soon enough Sakura arrived. She was dressed in a cute dress that went down to her knees. Her long, soft hair rested down insted of up for once. She loved when her best friend threw her birthday parties, he always threw the best!
She walked up to the front door as quickly as she could. She was so excited to see what he had planned for this year. She reached forward and rang the door bell.

Unlike his namesake animal, Rabbit didn't have quite the startled response of the long eared, twitchy nose things. On hearing the doorbell, he made his way to the door quite calmly to see who it was- as though he didn't know.

"Sakuraaaaaaa!"

The calm didn't last long. As soon as the door opened and they were face-to-face, he gave her an enormous hug, picking her up as he did. Rabbit may have been two years younger, but he was a fair amount taller than she was.

"And here I was thinking you'd chicken out!" He joked, setting her down.

She laughed as he picked her up. She hugged him back and laughed looking at him. "I wouldn't chicken out! Not with you being the one doing it." She said smileing at him. She wasn't quite sure what he was going to do, but whatever it was she would go along with it! She shook her head in a 'what are you up to' way and smiled again.

"Well I'll give you one last chance," Rabbit said, walking inside, "Because once you say the magic words, there's no safety word." This was not entirely true- he'd written a safety word on the card he'd given her ("Master Rabbit") because to not have one was just stupid. But this was just a pause-word, really. He intended to give her a taste of each of those things.

"I promised you a good, severe birthday spanking, and you know I absolutely don't play games!" He started towards the kitchen. "Cake? Or d'you want it later?"

She looked at him like 'you've done it again, haven't you?'. She was right, spanking impliments were around the room. She couldn't help but start laughing when he mentioned the birthday spanking. She never really had gotton one before, this would be the first one she would actually wonder about. She looked at him and the cake. "How about we do that later?" She said still laughing slightly. She knew she wouldn't be laughing soon once he was done with her. She knew he didn't play around with birthday spankings, then again, with anything spankings.

"Aaahhh? You want to start right off, then, don't you?" Rabbit returned from the kitchen with two cups of water.

"For later on," he said, reassuringly. He knew that whenever his boyfriend spanked him (always for punishment), he always wanted a drink of water after (as well as a pillow). Those spankings were not at all fun, seeing as how Rabbit much preferred giving them. He never got a chance, though, which was one of the many reasons he was happy he was friends with Sakura, who just adored being taken over the knee.

Without wasting any time, he sat down and gave Sakura a mock-annoyed look. "Young lady, you come right over here and lay across my lap," he said, putting a pillow over his lap.

She giggled slightly, when he pushed up her dress it tickled her. She had her wierd things everyonce in awhile. She shook her head with a laugh as he talked. "Come on, this isn't a talk me to death thing, it's a birthday spanking." She said looking back at him her hazle eyes sparkling.
