Noah stood near the car as Summer went to get the spare keys from the neighbor but made it a point to keep an eye on the girl just to be on the safe side. He was already feeling like an over protective dad and he hadn't even had custody of his daughter for twenty four hours yet. He supposed that it was just something that came with parenthood though he didn't have anything to base this assumption on.

"Got them" Summer said smiling as she showed her father the keys before she jumped over the broken fence and walked up to her old house before she unlocked the door and tried to push it open but found it hard because there was a build up of letters on the other side of the door which were jamming it slightly "I can't get the door open" Summer complained as she continued to push the door which wouldn't move

Following along behind his daughter at a slower pace Noah watched as she unlocked the door and then tried to push it open, to no avail. Stepping forward he grasped the doorknob. "Let me see if I can have any more luck at it," he said as he placed his shoulder against the door and pushed. Once again he felt like this was similar to breaking and entering but he didn't say anything as the door slowly but surely began to budge. It took him a little bit of work but he managed to get it open. "There you are," he said as he gestured toward it.

Summer smiled as her father managed to get the door open before her eyes widened in alarm as she saw two letters from her school lying on the floor, she quickly walked in ahead of her father and gathered up the letters before she dumped them on the kitchen table, she pocketed the two school letters hoping she had done it before he noticed "I'll just go upstairs and get my things that I need" Summer said quickly before she ran into the hallway and began to make her way upstairs

For whatever reason Noah felt uncomfortable as they entered the house and the man positioned himself near the door with his back leaning against the wall. He noticed that Summer gathered up the mail but he was only partially paying attention and so he didn't catch the fact that she pocketed a couple of them. Not that he likely would have thought much about it even if he had seen. "I'll just wait for you right here sweeting."

Summer smirked as she made her way upstairs, she couldn't believe that it had been so easy, all she needed to do now was stop her father visiting her school on Monday, she pushed open the door to her room and smiled, she had only been away from it for a few weeks but it felt good to be back in her own space again, she quickly began to pack up everything she wanted to take with her including her photo album from under her bed and her clothes

Noah stood leaning against the wall, humming a soft tune to himself. It was a long forgotten lullaby that he and Elana had actually written together as a project for their piano class. As he hummed the doctor found himself wondering if he could still play. He had a piano but it was more for looks than anything else since he didn't think that he'd ever actually touched the keys though the thought of playing the song for Summer, for his little girl, appealed to him.

It took Summer just over twenty minutes to finish getting everything that she wanted, she sat on her bed as she looked around her room which looked so bare, her gaze slowly moved to her photo album which she had already packed away, she quickly knelt down and dug through the box until she pulled out her photo album which she dropped onto her bed before she headed to the doorway "Hey dad, can you come up here for a second?" Summer shouted from her bedroom wanting to show him the photo album

Hearing the sound of his daughter's voice calling out to him Noah snapped out of his reverrie. "Coming," he called in response, making his way toward the staircase and then up to the second floor. It took him a couple of minutes to find her room and when he did he entered slowly. "What is it sweeting?" he questioned as he gazed at her, hoping that nothing was wrong.

Summer sat on her bed and opened the photo album as she heard her father begin to walk upstairs "I just thought you would like to see this" Summer answered as she motioned towards the photo album which was lying open in front of her at a picture of her as a baby
