Alexander looked to his twin when he came into the room. His ears drooping a bit as he tossed his clothes onto the bed and ran over to Ashe and hugged him. " I'm so sorry-- I didn't mean to hurt you." He said sounding sincere. Just nuzzling against him. He wished he could take back a lot of today but that just wasn't happening.

King Alistair looked to Cristian with an inquiring look. " what is the meaning behind him wishing to miss dinner with the family?" He asked. Glancing to Sebastian before looking back to Cristian. There was no point in lying in here. Not when Sebastian was around at least. You'd get caught. Unless he was feeling merciful.

" Ah.." Cristian bowed his head. He hadn't spent much time with the king so he felt nervous but tried to remain calm. " We had a few problems today and punishment was in order. I believe he just wishes to eat in his room if you will allow it.

" I will allow it." Alistair said. he didn't question why his son was punished. He knew there had been a good reason.

Sebastian looked towards the door when Seth entered. A playful smile forming on his face of the youthful looking vampire. " Both guardians request you. For the same reason...?" He said. he had always given Seth a hard time. Invading his mind just because he could.

Alistair looked to Seth and sighed. "Alexander wishes to eat in his room as well?"

Ashe was a little startled when his twin immediately came over and hugged him but he was pretty quick to wrap his arms around his brother and just hold him. "It's okay Alex, I know you didn't mean anything by it," he said in a quiet voice since he did realize that. He had never thought that his twin would do something to hurt him on purpose, he knew that the other kit was just being playful and that he had taken things too far.

Seth was a little surprised to see Cristian there when he entered the King's chambers but he didn't question that and instead simply looked at the man when he asked his question with a sigh. "Yes Your Majesty, he's had...rather a rough day," the guardian replied, his gaze focused on the king and completely ignoring Sebastian for the moment since he was of no real consequence. He would go into details should the man require them but for the moment he just left the explanation simple.

Alexander kept his arms around Ashe. Not wanting to let go but he knew there was only so long you could stay here like this.
He finally let go and looked to his brother. " You forgive me??" He asked. His tail starting to wag a bit.

Sebastian had no problem showing he was displeased with being ignored. He narrowed his eyes and let out a huffing sound. Only to have the king reach out and place a hand to his head. Probably to calm the vampire down.

" I know my sons are in good hands with the both of you. I will allow this if you believe it is what they need today." He was a kind king. He didn't want to force his sons to be uncomfortable.

" You may return to your posts. Have the maids bring meals to my sons. The same as what they would eat if they were down with me." Alistair wasn't aware that Ashe had little appetite at the moment though he was aware his son was weaker than Alexander. He had the best doctors to take care of him but even they could only do so much.

Cristian bowed once more. " Thank you sir." And with that he turned to leave. He knew Ashe would be glad to know he would be able to stay in his room.

Ashe nodded his head immediately upon hearing his brother's question. "Of course I forgive you, it's okay," he said, reaching to pet his twin with his own tail swaying from side to side slightly. "I really hope Cristian can convince Father not to make me come to dinner tonight...I really don't want to." Mainly he really didn't want to sit but he figured that Alex would realize that without him needing to spell it out.

Seth noticed the huff but once again he was unconcerned. If the vampire could play his little mind games then Seth felt perfectly justified getting a little revenge. HE turned his gaze to the King when he gave his permission for the princes to remain in their room for dinner that evening. He inclined his head slightly when he heard the man's dismissing words, the wolf appreciating this from the man.

"Thank you Your Majesty," he said with a small bow to the King. "By your leave..."

He waited for permission to go and then he turned and left the room, expecting that Cristian would be trailing along behind him since that was usually the case.

Alexanders ears twitched as he was patted. A smile forming on his face. " yeah Seth went to see if he could get me outta eating with father too." He paused though and pressed his forehead to his brothers. " Are you feeling okay? Or just sore?" He knew his brother was much more sickly you could say than him so he did worry about him and could tell little signs when he wasn't feeling well.

Sebastian watched as the wolves were dismissed by the king. He invaded Seth's mind. 'Be wary, guardian of Prince Alexander. I do not like being ignored.' He spoke to him in his mind and was already planning on what he'd try to do but he was still a fairly young vampire so if he could actually get Seth...well...he wasn't sure.

Cristian followed after Seth once they were dismissed and smiled a bit to him. " I'm sure the young princes will be happy to hear they are dismissed from dinner." He said idly as he went towards the kitchen area where the maids were working to let them know to bring the food to the princes chambers.

Ashe smiled slightly when his twin touched their foreheads together and then asked him about how he was feeling. "Mhm, I'm okay...tired," Ashe replied, the younger of the twins always the first to tire out of the pair and it had been an eventful day. "I just don't like the thoughts of having to squirm through dinner with people watching," he added since that was a big deal for him, he was always self conscious.

Seth heard the projected thoughts of the vampire and he actually snorted. "ooooh, that was scary." Those were the thoughts that he allowed to enter into his mind just for the benefit of the vampire, wanting him to know that he wasn't really intimidated. It wasn't as if the vampire could actually do anything, he had the King's protection and childish pranks he could deal with, while they weren't pleasant they were at least tolerable.

He looked back over at Cristian when he heard him speak and he nodded his head. "Now let's hope they both learn something from this experience and actually behave themselves," he said, wondering as he did if that would be the case. "Because next time I'll be more inclined to just let them squirm their way through dinner."

"Yeah same here. And then having to listen to father tell us how we're 'supposed' to be and that look he gives us when he knows we've been disobedient...." He sighed and just nuzzled his head against his brother then finally let him go. "Are you gonna eat?" He asked.

Sebastian just froze.How dare that wolf... DId he not know who he was?? He was the kings assistant because of the powers he possessed. He looked to Alistair and bowed. " My lord... I grow hungry... May I go and fill my stomach?" He knew just who would be his meal. Or attempted meal. Alistair nodded and dismissed him with a wave of his hand and Sebastian left. Slinking off into the shadows and leaving the throne room to wait for Seth to be alone. He had never tried to go up against Seth really before so he wasn't sure of his strength.

"Let us hope." Cristian smiled before approaching the cooks and maids. " The young princes will be dining in their room tonight. Please bring their meals to them as soon as the food is ready." He got a nod and 'yes' from them before he looked back to Seth.

"If I may ask. Do you know why Ashe appears more frail looking than Alexander? I noticed it when I see them both together."

"I don't even want to think about the lectures," Ashe said when his brother mentioned their father voicing his displeasure over their behavior. That was something that he was well familiar with at this point in his life and it was also something that he just didn't want to deal with. When his twin released him and then asked if he was going to eat the kit looked a bit thoughtful before shrugging his shoulders slightly as he replied, "I'm not sure...maybe." He knew that he should but he wasn't sure if he was going to have an appetite.

Seth accompanied his companion to the kitchens to make sure that the young princes would have their meal in their room, unaware of the fact that he was going to be a target. He listened as Cristian issued the orders for the meals and he was proud of the younger wolf but didn't say anything. He remained quiet until Cristian turned to him and asked the question about the younger of the two princes.

"Her Majesty the Queen had a difficult time when she was delivering Ashe," Seth replied. "Alexander was born first and without issue but it was harder with Ashe and the physicians all assume that's what made him so frail...he was smaller than his twin as well when he was born."

Alexander poked his brothers stomach. " You're so skinny. You need to eat." He huffed and went over towards their bed to crawl onto it and lay on his stomach because he was much too sore to lay on his back after 3 spankings. Laying his head on his pillow he glanced towards his brother. " You know what Seth told me? He said he was a terrible kid growing up. can you believe that??"

Cristian frowned. " I see. I had no idea." He said softly as he left the kitchen. He was going to go upstairs and tell Ashe about being able to eat in his room and figured while he was there he could help Seth out too. " Would you like me to tell Alexander as well that he can dine in his room?"

Sebastian lurked in the shadows. Completely hidden.He needed Seth to be alone. He'd wait for the perfect timing though perhaps the wolf would be able to catch his scent. Something the vampire didn't think about.

"I'm not that skinny," Ashe said when his brother poked his stomach and made that comment, the other boy making his way over to the bed as well and plopping down on his stomach beside his brother. Reaching over with a hand he started to rub his twin's back, wanting to offer him some comfort since he knew that he had to be sore still. He pricked his ears when he heard what Alex had to say, his eyes getting a bit wide as he heard that. "Seriously? Never would have pictured that," he said, having a hard time believing that Seth had been a bad kid. He was so strict and all about the rules now that it was just hard to imagine that.

Seth looked at Cristian when the other spoke and he was a little bit distracted and so he nodded absently. "Mhm, you can go and tell them, I'm sure they'll be happy," he said, his gaze shifting slightly because he had picked up a familiar scent, not to mention his keen wolf ears had picked up the faintest of noises. Not only could he tell that he was being followed but he knew exactly who it was that was doing the following. Shaking his head slightly and wondering if the vampire actually thought he was being sneaky the wolf decided that he was going to wait for the ambush that he was anticipating.
