Now that his tantrum throwing friend was out of the room it was suddenly very loud in the quiet room wishing he hadnt just followed his best friend into trouble Tony had made it worse on himself and it instantly snapped Chase back into line with his displays but hed already caused a stir in the prision with Tony so he was effectively stuck in trouble. He noticed the chatty hmguard say yes sir and leave he was a very nice man actually Chase quite liked him as he left the room and it was so silent it was defening. He knew it was his turn now.

“Alright…” he watched the door close before he turned his attention to the young man before him, tapping a few fingers on the arm rest of his chair. “Chase, what’s going on? What were you and your buddy thinking?” He asked, there was a hint of sternness to the voice, slight disappointment even. It was clear chase wasn’t going to escape his fate, but Theodore was at least giving him a chance to defend his actions, even if he was about to get spanked. “You’re not in here for good, so why make things difficult when you can instead get through your five years smoothly?”

Chase swallowed as he felt guilt swirl in his stomach as he stayed silent for a few mintues as he thought through his answer unlike Tony he was not as brash, he may be a bit of a stupid follower but when he did think for himself he was quite rational. He felt tears twinge his eyes as he remembered his late father especially the disappointment in his tone that cause a swell of emotion as he said in a strained voice "i dont know Tony got riled up and i just followed along i didnt want to be the lame baby" he said honestly as he squirmed looking at the floor and rubbed his arm "i dont know" he said to the last question to not able to really find a answer to that question.

Seeing the young man’s guilt gave Theodore some hope that he’d be able to at least help Chase, even if Tony was a bit of an influence. “So you wanted to fit in, worried how they’d view you… and you know what that’ll lead to?” He asked, curious if chase actually knew that once this talk ended he would be given a spanking. But he wasn’t without understanding, he gave a gentle look as he watched Chase, showing the warden wasn’t a monster, but was actually friendly when needed.

Chase was aware like most young people he was influenced by what he though was tough and cool, but the two older ones ans now his best friend getting whooped he was starting to be a little more leery. "N-no sir" he said there was two answers to this question and he wasnt sure which one the man was going for so decided to answer how he knew as his eyes stayed transfixed on the floor missing the gentle look the warden had as he could use it now but shame made it hard.

“Look at me Chase.” He firmly, but calmly told the young man as he remained stoic, but calm as the look remained. “I want you to look me in the eye and tell me you understand. I want to be sure your lesson sticks before we get on with your punishment.” He reaffirmed there wasn’t an escape, but he wanted Chase to admit it honestly and truthfully, the warden also wanting the young man to calm down before it happened

Chase pulled his head up on instinct at the firm order as he said "i un-understand" he said with a tight swallow and tears already in his eyes much like before he would have been spanked when he was younger, hell if his dad was alive when he was the current age. His dad didnt but up with shit.

Theodore nodded softly seeing the look in his eye, he felt sorry for the kid, but that didn’t mean he would let it slide as he nodded. “Good, it starts at understanding your fault and being able to admit it, you’re already doing better than most of my inmates.” He told the boy as a means to calm him down some. “That being said, that doesn’t change that it happened, and that you still must face the consequences.” Theodore pushed his desk chair back so he can stand up, walking over to an armless chair off to the side that he kept for this exact purpose. Taking a seat, he locked eyes with Chase, that same firm disappointment still present. “Please come over here Chase, cooperate and it’ll be in your favor.”

Chase didnt have much thought in fighting or disobeying when it came to such a authority figure. When he was with his best friend and others when he got near a resolute figure he regained a brain. "Yes sir" he said andbhe went over to the man and started to go over his lap and looked at the ground, he was atleast good at thinking rationally he did appear to be quite mature for someone so young but he was easily influenced one of the few reasons he was even in prision.

Theodore nodded, helping the boy find his place across the wardens lap as he listened to his response. Theodore decided it would be best to just get to the point and started to lower Chase’s pants, wanting to speed up the process and let Chase reflect on this and move forward. He could tell the boy was reasonable, and he wasn’t a bad kid, so a part of him felt bad for what was coming
