Bill opened the door keeping a firm grip on the back pack, now certain the test was in there. "No, it's ok, i've got it," he said, pulling the back packe away from her, purposfully spliing it's contents. Sure enough, the test was one of the things to land on top. "Well, what's this,' he said,picking up the test. he started to reasd it.

Her eyes wided as she watched him look over the test, which wasnt much, it was only half compleat, 30% as the grade, with a comment on the side saying "to the parents of Zoe, she had feel asleep while taking the test, leaving in incompleat, please sigh and send back, just to let me know that you have seen this. thank you"

"wellll" she started "it was early in the morning, i was tired the room was quite, and bam before i knew it i was sleeping, and its really the teachers fault, he could of woke me up, but nooo he decided to let me sleep thought the test, teachers these days" she was talking pretty fast, mostly out of nerves and pacing back and forth wail she talked in little paces

Plus, I want you to go up to your room and take off your pants and put them neatly on your bed, then get your paddle and meet me in the living room." A few years ago, Bill had bought a small wooden paddle that he had had her name painted on. It was about the size and thickenss of one of those paddleball paddles without the bal and string. it wasn't as herd as a lot of paddles but Zoe could attest that it stung quite a bit.

"But daddy! that takes away from my 'thinking' time and there are stuff that just need done" Zoe was a bright kid, not any smarter then the rest but she loved inventing things, she sat in her room for hours some days and just though of what ifs and how to test them. her eyes widen when he said to get her paddle, dreaded thing, she hated it "do i have to daddy" was the only thing she could think to say
