Karla shrugged gently.

" I was thinking more of an Iguana..but a kitty would be fun too" she grinned.

After her father had finished cooking, they sat down and began to eat quietly. Karla normaly liked silence but this was bothering her a bit.

" So...um..Did you hear the news?..they are bringing corporal punishment back to schools.." she whispered " Ashley's mom enrolled her to be allowed to get paddled by the principal...you arnt gona do that to me right?" she asked wrriedly.

Ryan reached over andstroked her hair. "Sweetie, I can't imagine YOU getting sent to the principal," he said. "And even if you did, I believe spanking should be kept within the family, so I doubt I would."

Karla's lips curled into a smile as her father stroked her hair and hen nodded.

" Thank you daddy" she grinned " I feel alot better now"

After a few more minutes, everything in the Kitchen had been done and the young teenager had decided to go up to her room.

" IM going to go and draw for a little while, ok Daddy?" she asked, already half way up the stairs.

" Yeah Yeah I wont~" she smiled, closing her door and quickly getting her art supplies and beggining to do some artwork.

A few hours later, she was still working on her art, completely ignoring her homework until she relazised it was her bedtme.

" Um...I kinda forgot to do it..Im gonna do it now though..it will only take 5 minutes or so" she said quietly, but loud enough for him to hear as she scratched the back of her neck sheepishly.

Karla let out a small whine, knowing exacty what that little phrase meant and got off of her bed and stood before her father, looking at him innocently.

" I know I did...IM sorry..I started a drawing and then i got really into it and I forgot...I can do it now or when I wake up tomarrow.." she offered, Karla normally woke up 1 or 2 hours before she had to leave for school.
