“That's two, young lady. If you have anything else negative that you'd like to say, you'll be saying it from across my lap.”

Jason puts a couple slices of bread on a plate, and then uses a spatula to lift his burger and bacon from the pan and put them on his bread. He then sets the pan back down on the stove after turning it off. Rather than immediately eating, though, he walks around the table and takes Rinna by the hand, walking her out into the living room.

“Now, there are plenty of channels on the holo that are just for girls your age, so you're arguing about nothing, anyway. I'll pick you out something, since you don't want to.”

Taking the remote, he picks out a cartoon channel that meets the rating guidelines for penitatas, locking the channel so Rinna won't be able to change it while he's out of the room.

"I'm just gonna sleep.. not in the mood for holo." Rinna said with a soft sigh as she rested her head on the couch and closed her eyes.

Jason smiles, giving Rinna a couple of soft pats on her back before walking back to the kitchen to finish his meal.

“Alright. I'll leave it on for you, though, in case you want to watch it when you wake up.”

With Rinna resting, Jason takes his time with preparing his meal, adding in a few sides to round it out. Soon, he returns to the living room with a full belly, sitting down on the couch next to her. He runs his fingers softly through her hair, appreciating how innocent they all look when they're sleeping.

Despite the childish nature of the show, Jason actually manages to take an interest in it, finding some of the characters to be cute. He's somewhat used to penitatas programming, though, so he's become accustomed to it. He's able to stomach a lot of things that other adults wouldn't care for, including caring for youthful offenders.
