Green eyes continued to look imploringly at the man whose legs he stood between as Evan awaited the verdict. He sighed happily as his thin frame was taken into strong arms, burying his blonde head in River's shoulder and sniffling lightly. He had a very fleeting thought about trying to distract his mate by being sexy, maybe kissing the other's throat or wiggling against him sensually, but it quickly fled. Evan enjoyed the hug for an extended moment, not quite willing to give up the safety of River's arms for the sting of the spoon. Finally he pulled away, it had been a sweet moment between the two of them, and the green eyed Omega didn't want to ruin it by waiting too long to do as he was told.

Evan breathed slowly, licking his lips and shuffling his feet to work out the nervous energy, and finally lowered himself back down over River's lap.
